well a dont ave a clue wot ppl r moanin 4 ii had an absolutely fantastic time while ii was there. yes its basic but wat more do ya want 4 the price u pay. its great if u want 2 be not far from the beach and some lovely bars and restraunts also only about a 5 min walk from magaluf. i had a fab time and will definitely b booking up again in the near future.

I HAVE TO SAY IM REALLY SUPRISED AT THE COMMENTS ABOUT THE SAGA NOVA HOTEL.

ME AND MY FAMILY HAVE BEEN TO THIS APARTMENT A COUPLE OF TIMES.

YES THE ROOMS ARE BASIC AS YOUR IN A 3 STAR RATING HOTEL, IT SOUNDS LIKE PEOPLE WERE EXPECTING THE RITZ.

SOME OF THE STORIES IV READ SOUND SO BARBARICK,BEING MADE TO NOT SLOUCH ON SOFAS,SMELLS OF SEWAGE, ETC.

WHILE AT THE SAGA NOVA ME AND MY FAMILY HAD GREAT TIMES EACH YEAR WE WENT,ROOMS WERE CLEAN BUT OBVIOUSLY HAVING TILED FLOORS IT DOES GET DIRTY,STAFF WERE REALLY POLITE AND PEOPLE YOU CAN HAVE A LAUGH WITH.THE LOCATION IS BRILLIANT AS ITS ONLI LESS THAN 2 MINUTES FROM THE BEACH AND 5-10 MINS FROM MAGALUF.I WOULD DEFINATLEY RECOMMEND THE SAGA NOVA.EVEN IF YOU GO IN SEPTEMBER THEWEATHER IS STILL HOT AND ITS NOT AS BUSY AS BETWEEN JUNE-AUGUST..

Never, ever go there! An absolute dive. Turning up in reception you get a really good impression, however this does not last. After the staff are finished glaring at you when they hand over the room key, you make your way towards your room for the next two weeks. As you walk towards your room you'll find doors wide open with happy hardcore music full blast and couples arguing at each other- ok fair enough, lad’s holidays do get loud.



You walk into your room to discover your beds or more specifically sofa's, a strange smell, and you can physically feel the dirt on the floor. The balcony I always look forward to and yes, I was disappointed. You can literally see into your next door and vica versa, a lovely view of the busy road too!



I stupidly thought of eating in the hotel area, bad idea. After taking ten minutes to order in a empty dining area, you literally want to shout at the waiter purely for how he serves- looks at you in disgust, mumbles something in Spanish, making you feel so uncomfortable- like as if you asking for the world. I waited for half an hour for a burger and I’m not just saying this, I couldn’t finish it, after leaving it half eaten. I was definitely not tipping.



If you do go, for whatever reason, don’t use the lift. Most of us just walked up the stairs as its only 3 levels- my friend however used it for the mirror use. He got stuck in there twice. You think he would learn but I’ve got to admit it was the funniest thing I saw. Any way, drinks service, entertainment and police threats made the whole experience poor. The location is ok for the beach, but there are a vast number of alternate hotels that surpass this. Walking towards main town you see all the other hotels and it makes you jealous.

Stayed in the Saga Nova last summer and had the best holiday of my life. The hotel was basic but it did not affect my holiday. The staff were unfriendly and arrogant.



For several nights we were harassed by other people in the hotel and even on constant complaint to reception, nothing was done. Also, when we complained about the cleaners, they personally banged on our doors and gave us abuse.



At night we would return home to find strangers/holiday makers behind the reception and handing out room keys as well as people who were not staying in the hotel in the reception talking to hotel guests.



There was also often drunk people sleeping in the corridors. On our departure date we were not allowed to keep on our rooms so had to spend several hours in reception.



The receptionist warned us that we could only sit there and wait if we sat up straight and stopped slouching in the chairs. However, considering that all you have to do in a hotel is sleep, we could live with the cons and some of them even made for a good laugh in retrospect.



The Saga Nova is in a central location. It is less than a 2minute walk from the beach as well as several restaurants and shops. However, it is next door to a hotel with entertainment and every day without fail we were woken by the sound of the German entertainer shouting through a microphone next door.



The hotel is for groups of young people. It is noisy and the staff do not entertain complaints.



I would not recommend it to families if they were looking for a good night sleep and a quiet and relaxed day by the pool because they will get quite the opposite.



We made some good friends there and had such a good laugh that we are heading back this summer. Can’t wait

Absolute rubbish! A total waste of money! The room was dirty on arrival, the cleaners were not existent, the entertainment. What entertainment! Need I say more apart from never book a room in this hole!



Ps - thanks for whoever left the sock, deodorant, empty toothpaste box and used tissue under my bed! Much appreciated!

Just came back from the saga nova hotel and I can definitely say I wouldn’t stay there again. We stayed in a studio for 3 where 2 of us had 2 sleep on couches and the other on the pull out bed which had a mattress 2 inches thick.



The Cleaners were rubbish and hardly changed our towels, we had to always go and ask for clean towels at reception if we wasn’t there when the cleaner was. Also the cleaners didn’t not change our bed sheets until we went and complained. The air conditioning didn’t work as it blew out warm air.



The only mirror we had was the one in the bathroom which wasn’t very good when you got 3 young girls getting ready. The only good thing about this hotel was that it was in a good location with 10 min walk 2 Magaluf and over the road from the beach. The hotel is very basic and full of young groups which was good for us.

I went towards the end of the year, late September. We arrived and the staff were great the room was great and all in all it was a great place to be.



The bar staff were so cheerful and the night entertainment was a right laugh. It was the best place I've stayed yet and I don’t have a bad word to say about it.



If you’ve booked it you’ll have a great time.

After reading all the comments about the saga nova, I really expected the place to be horrible!


Upon arrival, some guests where moved to the opposite hotel, due to there being a flood on the bottom floor, but with us being 4 young adults, we were placed on the top floor any way.


The rooms were pretty basic, sink hob, plates and 4 very small glasses!

The bedroom was a good size and beds weren’t that bad to sleep in, although curtains were hanging off the rails!


Don’t eat in the restaurant, might as well go on to the ones just around the corner, especially happy Chinese! Was lovely!



All in all, i would stay there again, and I am next yr!

The rooms are very basic, we were three young adults sharing. The beds blocked the balcony, and were no more than half a metre apart.



The cleaners came into our room, but we could not see that anything was any different afterwards. The hotel itself was not very noisy, but the two neighbouring hotels were. It’s in an excellent location for people looking for the nightlife in Magalluf. Magalluf is only a ten-minute walk away.



The beach is over the road from the hotel and there are plenty of places to eat. I would not recommend this hotel for families or people wanting a relaxing, quiet holiday.

This was the worst holiday we’ve ever had. The apartment was far from clean and to say it was basic is an understatement.

The curtains were hanging off and the 'cleaners' were useless.



This is bad enough but to make things worse the noise during the night from within the hotel was unbearable, it was so bad the hotel brought in extra security, but this made no difference. We were onto reception during the night every night to complain, we came home thoroughly exhausted, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
