The Queens Hotel

An excellent hotel that definitely does NOT have staff with an attitude problem. This hotel is highly recommended as it is so friendly and absolutely everyone is welcome (even the previous reviewer!!!!!). The rooms are quite basic yes, but you get exactly what is advertised and if you look at the brochure then you would know what you are getting. Dissapointed is the understatement, this hotel is recomended by so many people and is a huge dissapointment. Small cupboard sized rooms. Staff with MAJOR attitude presumibly taught to them by the arrogant, ignorant management. Only bother to go to this hotel if you are (a) The type of man who the managers are attracted to. The staff were friendly. There is a great terrace bar on the 8th floor. Went as a group, some rooms at the front and other on the side. The noise is really bad at night until about 4am. There are bottle banks across from the hotel at the front where all the local resturants empty their bottles until about 3am, loud is not the word for it and on the side, rooms overlook 3 bars which are open until the early hours in the morning, about 4am playing loud music. fantastic staff, food, cabaret and value. i booked a room for me and my dad and another for my gran and grandad, the welcome from staff was 1st class. every1 bacame involved in the cabaret i neva stopped laughing. inexpensive bar just over all quality i will be back. burberry x

great fun had by all. Its a fun place to be if your looking for a good night out then this is a good place to start. Food is great hotel rooms are clean but small but then a good price. This place is always busy so book early and enjoy life to the full....

after a visit one evening with friends in march we called in the next day and booked aweeks holiday for june the same year from the moment we arrived we were treated like family both wayne n derek and staff were very friendly the rooms were spotless and meals were superb and evening entertainment was great looking forward to our weeks holiday in may this year rita n ken manchester

hi Been staying here for several years, what can we say the hotel has had a massive quality refurbishment, with new rooms and bar area , terrace and soft furnishings The price is guaranteed and value for money, the staff are professional , pleasant and fun. We stayed at the Queens for a week we were not told that there was builders working on the hotel when we booked .We spoke to the Manageress Julie who said that there is nothing they can do if we wanted to find somewhere else it was up to us. When eating our breakfast the dust was so bad that we just could not eat and had to go somewhere else to eat.On one night we had to endure bits of the ceiling falling whilst we where eating our evening meal again we could not eat the food When we spoke to one of the owners Wayne his only response was to... more

Stayed here in June 2004 with 8 friends. The hotel is in the best part of Benidorm - the Old Town with great Tapas near by. The rooms were cheap & the food was great. Wayne & Derek are a couple of characters! The rooms are basic but i've since heard that they've bought the building next door to expand & update. We are all going back to Benidorm this June but aren't staying there but will be visiting the lads for some food & a beer.
