Sa Coma Playa Apartamentos

After reading alot of negative reviews we decided to book anyway as I had been to Sa Coma before. On arrival we were given a room on the fourth floor with a sea view as requested. The room was clean and tidy and had maid service every other day. The reception staff were friendly and the bar and dining staff were lovely. We were very glad to have booked all inclusive and were not a bit disappointed; every meal, breakfast , lunch and dinner for the full week had fresh and different ingrediants. just spent two weeks in germany or so it seemed, loveley area hotel close to beach and town NOTHING in this hotel is in english inc entertainment and posters etc food is for germans only the bingo was in english because they wanted your money! there are no snacks at all unusual for all inc staff very nice and helpful dont expect to see any english reps here !

My family and i have just returned from sa coma playa appartments and have had a lovely holiday. We were in room 517 as we asked for a sea view the appartments are basic but clean and tidy, the maids came every day apart from tuesday and thursday, the view was lovely, the appartment was 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 2 sofa beds in appartment, the beds were not the best but after a few nights you got used to them, there is NO air con which would have been good. booked this hotel than read posted reports and thought "oh god what have i booked in to" but was very relieved when i got there. Its is a 3 star hotel and good for what we payed. My party consisted of 4 adults & a baby (aged 1). The night porter on arrival was very helpful ( his English was better than my Spanish) and as stated in other reviews the info sheet given was in German, but was easy to work out what was what. I did get an English version the following morning from reception (only had to ask & the guy on the desk printed one off for me). Well my friend and her daughter and me and my 2 boys went on holiday in Aug07 to the Sa Coma Playa Apartments(not the hotel). Before we went we check the accomodation but could not really find a great deal on it(but we'd already book). This is Sold as an all inclusive Apartments but it's not totally all inclusive it's more like full board with drinks. PLEASE,PLEASE if you are english and are lucky enough to not of booked this hotel yet DONT!! We are a couple 24 and 28 we wanted a relaxing holiday,edable food, maybe meet a few people,sunbath by the pool and enjoy a few drinks while waching the entertainment. Hi folks where do I begin. I will try to make this review as objective as possible. First piece of advice this is not the Sa Coma Playa Hotel and Spa. If you think it is then think again. I stayed here with my wife and three teenage boys ages 14,14, and 15. First thing noticable is this is a venue quite firmly patronised by a german clientel. We arrived at the hotel after having requested a quiet room we were given a romm next to the pool bar. When we asked for a change we were given a room next to the pool pump house at the back of the hotel. The room was dark and dismal with a spare bed in the kitchen. Little other furniture. Children running up and own the hotel in the early hours of the morning. My wife and I were physically threatend by rody hotel guests drinking at the bar at 3:30 am. Just returned from a week at the Sa Coma Playa and can only endorse wgat previous reviewers have stated; good surroundings, pleasant rooms (myself, my wife and 16 year old daughter had a suite) and certainly excellent food choice for the price. The overall resort we found to be very "English" but the hotel was a pleasant retreat from the British pubs and souvenir shops.
