Sol Trinidad Hotel

had a great time at this hotel,food was great,good location for the beach ,bars,shops,very clean,maid service most days,towels and rooms cleaned every day,nice friendly staff of which most speak english good entertainment at nite for the kids,on the downside was the security staff,one security guy with a twitchy eye seems to be cruising the hotel grounds at nite itching for a fight,we seen him hiding in the bushes at 3am,he jumped out an said what the fcuk you doing,of course there was a stand off but never came to much,must think he,s the sherriff or sumthin,anyhow good hotel,had a great time but watch out for the madman

EXCELLENT place to stay. Glad we choose this hotel as the location was excellent, very central, but not right on the strip thankfully!!!! Would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a lively holiday. Evening entertainment was provided which was good, however I wouldn't stay here if I had a family (too noisy).
Food and maid service was excellent, would definitely go back.

Myself and two other friends went to Magalluf for one week, the holiday overall was okay but the hotel was hurrendous! Myself and one other got BEATEN UP by our hotel security guards! I am bruised from head to toe and can barely walk! after being thrown down 8 flights of stairs, stamped on, head smashed on metal railings, kicked, hit with a bat, I can officially say I will NEVER return to this place again! After phoning the police and the british embassy, all that we have been told is as the hotel did not phone their police, theoretically nothinig happened! I AM IN AGONY! This man was HUGE! and they had guns - god forbid if he used that on us too...! Magalluf is DANGEROUS. You are probably wondering why did they beat us up - becuase we jumped in the swimming pool! Yes it was after hours and we shouldn't have done it but we wasn't loud and we was only in the for litterally 2 minutes! it was horrific! i have never been so scared in my life! Every night these security guards pestered me and my friends! one got i n the lift with me - opened the doors between the floors and said to me come on you know you want to!!! I AM 18 YEARS OLD! its DISGUSTING! they tried to get us to do drugs and i have never done anything like that... this place should not exist! i am APPALUED by the was we was treated!!! DO NOT GO TO SOL TRINIDAD!!!!

Me and my friend both female im 17 and she was 18 we got beaten up by the weird security guards because we jumped in the pool at 3 in the morning. They pulled us down the stairs by our hair and punched us and because we were refusing to go down the stairs with them they punched me to the floor and kicked me in the stomach so i fell down the stairs. This was going on for about 1 hour. About 50 people came out of there rooms and just watched. When they finally kicked us down all of the stairs they grabbed us by the throat and threw us outside like we were dollys. I then tried to go back in so i could use the telephone but again they grabbed me by the throat and threw me back out. He then chased me with a bat and was showing me his gun. Luckily this was our last night.I am now bruised everywhere. Would NEVER stay there again!

I stayed here for 10 days in July 2008.
Thought the hotel was in an excellent location, you couldnt have asked for better! About 2mins to BCM's and the lively bars behind, and the same to the beach.
The hotel was clean with towels being changed daily. We had a pool view which was nice but wouldnt of been pleased if we were overlooking McDonalds and the busy road as most people were.
The pool area was also nice but anyone who gets up late wouldnt have a chance to get any sun loungers. The only reason we got them is that i am a light sleeper and would go to the pool quite early.
The only thing that spoilt our holiday was the quality of food in the hotel, hence the 7/10 score i have given. As we were half board, we had to put up with the food every night which had no variety and wasnt very pleasant to eat. We were so sick at one point we couldnt face it any more and went for a chinese on the strip. Breakfasts were OK though.
Go to Pirates! Its an excellent night out. I went years ago with my Mam and Dad to the family one which was good but the Uncut version is a right laugh!
We went to the Western Water Park which again was brilliant.
I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to go to Magaluf!

For what it is, its a great hotel for a girl holiday (or guy) to go out every night and take regular trips to the beach. Great location. Literally 3 mins from BCM - although i wasnt that hyped about the club as it was overated and watered down drinks all night
but the beach is 3 mins away too so perfect for sun worshippers!!
Food was good for what we payed for it- couldnt really expect more.
rooms were tidy and the maids were really friendly.
If you stay in Magalluf this is the place to be!

I feel this hotel is great for any first time visitor like myself.
The room was clean and was cleaned everyday, it also is located in a great area near the beach and near the night life.
Im going back this year and this is the only hotel i will be staying in :)

The hotel was very clean and well situated. Close to the beach and all bars and restaurants.
Found the hotel food not up to scratch but other than that had a really great time.
The room was clean and had a great view.
Would book again, think the food was off because it was the end of the season.

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Sol Trinidad for a week. We were half board and didn’t really enjoy the food so we ate out at Happy House which is brilliant and Tom Browns.
The beach is lovely, 2 min walk. Night life is good, make sure you go to BCM night club.
Hotel was nice. The only problem was our balcony was facing Mcdonalds and it smelt horrible, it made us feel sick walking past.
I would go again, but the only down full was Mcdonalds, apart from that holiday was lovely.

I stayed at the Sol Trinidad in July for two weeks with my sons, aged 19 and 16 and have to say the hotel was excellent all round. The food at this hotel should win an award for being 4 star quality. The non-smoking dining room and bar area simply made this hotel even better.
A perfect location close to the beach and shops, which was great for us. The friendly staff couldn’t have looked after us enough and even helped me to learn some Spanish everyday. A very cheerful lady cleaned the room daily. I spent every night at the Plaza Café listening to the best live singing in Majorca (no need to go anywhere else for evening entertainment). We have had other self-catering holidays in Magalluf for the past 4 years up the road, but this hotel exceeded all expectations. I will definitely be returning again next year. Thanks for a great holiday!
