Fiesta Tropico Aparhotel

just came back from fiesta tropico yesterday 24th july was warm weather , pool lovely,rooms clean but basic, thomsons reps really friendly and helpful but was told that this was a family hotel, thats the only reason we went . endid up that ther was loads of youngsters and groups of young party people ther. was disapointing as we went as a family of 4 and ,was expectin a safe and quiet enviroment for my children to enjoy but that wasnt the case.staff werent plesent. would stongly not recomend this for familys!!!
should be stated that ther is young groups aloud in this hotel. magaluff was brillient tho , the up-side- down house is a must see and has brillient food, DONT go to the NO1 chinese it is terrible!! nealy had our food chucked on our laps, staff were rude and food discusting!! watch out for the prostertutes tho they are discusting. go if u want to party tho :)

Just returned from fiesta tropico and after reading some of the comments i was rather on guard when i got there. I have been to magaluf numerous times, so was fully aware of what the noise gets like, been there done it got the t-shirts but this time have kids a 3 year old and 2 year old and they loved it entertainment BRILL kids club BRILL you really didnt need to leave the hotel 10/10 for effort from the entertainment team something for all the family. Pool also brill cant really be faulted fully enjoyed it and will be going again do belive me like they say dont always go off what you resd but you can this time.

Hotel was booked on basis that it catered for families only........ NOT TRUE
Don't let your kids play unsupervised in the hotel playpark as there were incidents with pervets hanging around behind the bins across the road from the park. when reported to the hotel it was apparentl that there has been previous incidents of this kind. If this was the case why was something not done about it and why where guests with young children not warned about it.
Found this attitude shocking and would recommend you avoid the hotel until they ensure it is safe for the kids.

Just came back yesterday from a girls holiday! Hotel clean, friendly with nice surroundings. Reps really friendly and helpful, lovely pool and complex. Weather was absolutely boiling! Hotel in an amazing location smack bang in the middle of the bars and clubs and just around the corner from bcm night club! Noise from sahara across the road but wasnt too bad! Men beware of the prostitues, we witnessed them grabbing drunk men while walking past WITH there girlfriends! I do advise you eat at tom browns lush food! We noticed teens who visit the hotel were going to sahara and jungla in the day time which were soo much more lively! Anyway all in all amazing holiday and hotel was lovely!

The hotel was very nice and pleasant but unfortunately there was a few breakings and we I was one of the unlucky ones. The hotel staff were very helpful and caring shame the same cant be said about the Thomson rep team leader Louise Dutty. She has got a very bad attitude problem. She just wasn’t interested and couldn’t be bothered to do anything about the problem. Luckily the man was caught and is now in prison. On the other hand the entertainment of an evening was different every night and the kids enjoyed it.

Uhm...Tropico, not the best nor the worse. Apartments overall quite clean, bedroom and bathroom a decent size, seen much better showers and be warned the water is shockingly hot, be careful with the little ones. The 'fans' on the ceilings were out-dated and really did not do the job they were intended for, made for some uncomfortable hot and sticky nights! Kitchenette was ok, basic but clean, our toaster was broken and staff replaced it swiftly.
Was surprised to find the apartments came minus a television but then if i had read the brochure properly it didn't state they did....so what did i expect!
Fantastic pool especially for the children, getting a sunbed is a problem though....the staff and reps try to tackle this as much as they can but unfortunately you will never stop the brits that need to place towels and chairs on them and queue from 'silly' o clock.
Went Magaluf last year, lovely resort with everything on your doorstep. Water-parks and Pirate Show a must for all.....well worth the money.
You read review after review about groups of 'louts' never had any dealings with any, saw plenty but all out to have a good time, (who can blame them) we've all been young once!!!
Would go back to Magaluf again.....stayed at sol Trinidad on my first visit would definitely return there so much more comfortable!

Just got back from a amazing holiday in the tropico, i was worried about a few of the reviews but me and my family had a great time!! I dont understand these bloody people who complain about the noice of youth ect HELLO its magaluf for gods sake, its a cheap and chearful holiday why on earth would you book a holiday in magaluf (the center may i remind you) if you wanted a quiet holiday, some people are so stupid these days, why not spend abit more money and go to the caribbean if you want a quiet holiday!! yes it is noisy but what more do you exspect!! massive pool, great atmosphere, mice entertainment, kids club available and a fantastic bunch of thomson reps!! my only advice is, if u dont want a basic cheap and lively resort GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Went to tropico with open mind after reading reviews and was pleasantly surprised accomadation spacious, clean , bit dated but we only wanted it to sleep in . Pools were lovely we went with a 4 year old and a 3 year old who both had a fantastic time , they loved kids club loved the pool and although we found entertainment a bit cheesy kids loved it !!! I emailed for quiet room overlooking pool and got just what we wanted , there was a bit of noise now and then but nothing offensive and our kids weren't woken. On the whole beaches lovely !!! sea clean , plenty of places to eat palma nova up the road . All good stuff great family holiday we liked it !!! Weather great too . Tom Browns definately best family food , we liked the one on the beach front . benny Hills good for a drink with kids. Western Waterpark good day out and pirates excellent. we didnt pay a lot for this holiday so i felt we got excellent value for money :-) Ps 7 30 am to get sunbed near the kids pool !!!!!!! Take a good book as people sit on chairs where they want to place their beds !!!!Take plenty to spend as very expensive for drinks etc .

we have just returned from 2wks at the fiesta tropico in maguluf it was a holiday from hell having been told by thomson this is familys only hotel this is no longer the case has we had noisy groups of young people across and above us in the second week complained about this and nothin was done.on arrival we got appartments with a view of the back of a restaurant with horrible smells comein into our rooms previous to this i did email hotel direct requesting pool view rooms it took them 5 days to move us has you have to go on a waiting list..entertaintment was rubbish.if was not up between 8 and 9 waiting for the sunbeds to be unlocked you never got one.you also get alot of noise from neighboring hotels jungla and sahara.there was also alot of thefts in this hotel so that made you feel unsafe,lifts always breaking down.all in all if you want a family holiday with lots of noise and not getting any sleep and not much for the kids to do then go to maguluf and this hotel but i know we will never be returning here has we had proplem after proplem and couldnt wait to get home.i appreciate maguluf is a noisy and place full off young groups of stag and hen does but when told this was a familys only complex and plenty for the kids to do was very misleading in our opinion has we found out.
