Fresh Apartamentos Magamar

We stayed at the Fresh Apartments Magamar in July 2011 for two weeks and we had the best time ever. Me and my 3 friends arrived around 12 to find that there was a problem with our room and we had to be transferred to another hotel until the next day. It was devastating as we were so tired and just wanted to unpack in our rooms. However whenever we got settled into our rooms the next day we were suprised to see that the apartments were not as bad as the reviews i had seen on here. They were clean and tidy and the maids brought in cleans towels toilet roll etc every two days i think however the only thing they didn do was take out the rubbish or put on cleans sheets. There was plenty of room in the apartment for the four of us however the balcony could have been a bit bigger. I was overally impressed with these apartments although air con would be good as the ceiling fans are not much use and there is only one mirror which is unforunate. Magaluf is an amazing place to stay in and these apartments are not to far from the strip. Would definately go back to Magaluf infact me and my mates are going to go over for the month this time and work with playaway.

I went to Magamar 2 weeks ago for 12 days, with me and 4 other girls. Completely unhelpful didnt even ask us if we would like to hire the safe. Being 18 years old we was expecting a party time there when we got a 'warning' for being too loud at 11 at night. The security guard tried giving us a 100 euro fine so when we said we'll take it to the manager then all of a sudden we didnt have to pay it so he tried conning us. Magaluf in general was amazing! But DO NOT stay here!!

Stayed there for a week, me & 2 other girls, we had read the reviews & were worried about the place & stuff getting stolen!! But the place is not that bad, sucha party place, none of our stuff didnt get stolen thats cause we left our things in our suitcases lol. I really liked the apartments lol weather was klass, met loadsa nice fellas & partied with them in their apartments lol :) haha & we realised at the end of our hol that we shoulda cooked food in the place, we woulda saved money lol, defintly gna b going back next year :) the security guard is a bit strict at night when ye come home frm a night out, he doesnt like the noise but its funny like the way he gets on, the pool was klass crac but i think they should open the snack bar lol. defintly give it a go its for a young crowd that likes partying :P

I had no idea where me and my 3 girlfriends were staying as the travel agent just booked it for us. So i looked at the reviews on here and i was really worried about my holiday being ruined i was tempted to change. The first night we got there we didnt arrive until 2am so just wanted to unpack and sleep! we couldnt sleep because there was so much noise, we all got very stressed but the next night when we went out we didnt get in the next morning ourselves until 8am and we were the noisy ones! its totally different out there its amazing, we made alot of friends staying at Magamar and loved every moment apart from our first experience arriving so late and not knowing what we'd let ourselves in to! we loved the staff, and the appartments are basic but we only used our rooms to sleep, get ready and drink on our balconys! we had our music on until 2am and then we'd go out and the staff had no problem with this - you cant really go to magaluf and moan about the noise! we are DEFINATLY going back to Magamar appartments next summer! loveeeddd ittt!!!!! x

Me and 4 friends stayed at Fresh Magamar in January 2011 and had a brilliant time!! the hotel was nice and clean and staff veru helpful. read some of the bad reviews before heading out but really found it amazing!
would recommed it to anyone. we have already booked up to go again in July!

Magamar is the best hotel in the whole wide world~!!! ME and 5 girls went to magaluf and stayed there a couple of weeks ago. ~We absolutely loved it apart from PING PONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the evil security man whos "boss was on his back" ALL THE TIME!!!!!! we stayed in room 223 aka PARTY ROOM! we loved hanging off the balconys making mates! we loved it so much we are going back in two days YEEEEEAAAHHHHH!!! See ya there :)

we had been put off magamar with alot of pretty awful reviews before heading but having just got back from a week there i have 2 say it was the best week of my life. the apartments may have been basic but this was good enough for 5 girls and boys just looking 2 have a good laugh, drink and party. if ur looking a cheap place 2 stay close to the beach, 10 mintues from bcm, the square and main strip, magamar is perfect. you have 2 go 2 BCM without a doubt, best place ever the washing machine party is amazing. baywatch in BCM square is a good spot, the square in general is pretty amazing. one thing i would say 2 girls is take a couple of extra mirrors as there is only one in the bathroom, and the rooms didnt have aircon, but just leave the balcony door open at night. we had heard of a couple of people being stolen from but as long as all money and other stuff stay in the safe you will be grand. All in all magamar and magaluf in general are quality and a great spot. cant wait to get back!! WE LOVE MAGAMAR WE DO WE DO WE DO!!!!!!!!!!! :D

we, ten young yorkshire girls, arrived at the hotel last week and were a bit annoyed to find out that we were given 3 rooms instead of 2 and that we weren't next to eachother (we had called to confirm just days before that we were going to have two rooms, a 4 and a 6, and that they were to be next to eachother) but atleast we were on the same floor. everything was fine until a few days in when my friends in another room had money stolen and it could only have been the maid because the money was there before she came and then wasnt, also the maids did a shocking job, mopped the floor without sweeping and it stank of fish and rubbish, we also only had 2 towels for four of us which we changed once until we stole some from a trolly on our floor. after this we asked to not have a maid and cleaned ourselfs whih was fine. the sequrity guard hated us, which was fair enough because we messed around loads and were threatened to be kicked out 3 times, but be carefull not to go too far because he threatened to hurt my friend, he was really scary but it was funny. Basially hotel was basic and fine, the area is great and please go to Tom Browns for breakfast, it's just arounf the corner and they do the best pancakes and toasties ever!

we booked to stay @ majorca rocks and found are self staying here which was dissapointing but we still got to use there facilitys. where the staff @ magamar are very rude and un helpfull they do not try to help you 1 bit. we had a security guard offering us to use his mobile phone as the staff would not let us use the phone. most of the staff are spanish and only know english when it suits them. it says club 18-30 but there was childern @ the hotel we met lots of holiday makers unhappy with the staff manner did spoil our holiday!. the music must be turned off @ 12.00am but we use to get phone calls about ten which spoils your night. the cleaner didnt really clean our room we had to tell them to clean the room as we were complainging when we got home to the uk. as a whole the hotel wasnt to bad the main problem was the staff just plain rude even the manager is rude we had more joy complaing over majorca rocks.

just thought i'd add a little note because its mainly negative reviews on here!! not sure why because we had a blast when we stayed! only problem was the security taking our music speakers away because we had them on too loud.. that is the only negative thing i have to say. the pool is little but fine. beach is only down the road as well as all the bars and clubs.
all in all is a great place! x
