Secrets Royal Beach

Just arrived home from the NH Royal Beach after a 2 week stay--what can I say--absolute heaven!!! This hotel has only been open for 2 months and I can't say enough about the excellent service from the wait staff, bartenders, maids, front desk, management and the attention to detail that this resort offers. It boasts a fabulous pool that winds its way through the centre of the resort with many areas to step into the water or lounge in the sun or shade. Originaly we booked the NH Real Arena next door but when we got there the room they gave us had a moldy smell to it. When we complaind about it they said they wouln't have another room with a King size bed until the next day, but for $30 more a day we could stay at the adults only NH Royal Beach next door which comes with 3 more restaurants to choose from plus Premium alcohol, to which I said yes but wanted to look at the room first to make sure it doesn't have the same smell an it didn't so we took it. OK, we are from NYC so we are use to really good Italian, French, Asian name it. This is absolutely a third world country. The food is OK. That being said we had a pretty good time. The beach is great, lots of sea grass but they make a real effort to keep it cleaned up. The grounds are well manicured and the pool is sparkling. The staff for the most part is willing to please. What a beautiful facility. The beach was absolutely palm adorned beautiful. The friendly staff did an excellent job. Everyone on request was extremely helpfull. The winding pool and pool bar were great meeting spots in the afternoon. The food, and the wine were definitely well above average for an AI. The bar staff served many premium liquors and were always smiling and anxious to serve. Great All Inclusive, Great Time!

Just got back from NH Royal and it was paradise! Our trip was from Feb 6 - Feb 13, 2010. The transfer from the airport to the hotel was quick and easy. Check-in was great - we were greeted with the "welcome drink" and then escorted to our room. The room was on the 3rd floor with spectacular views of the pool and "lazy river". My wife and I spent the first week of February at the NH Royal Beach and were very satisfied with the experience. Being a new property (opened in December), we were pleasantly surprised that we did not encounter any of the normal "bugs" associated with a new property. Second visit to Punta Cana (2009 Majestic Ellegance) My wife & I were @ NH Royal Beach Jan 30 - Feb 6th, 2010. When we arrived to the Resort 4pm saturday we thought we were in a Ghost Town, the place was empty (running at 39% capacity) But it was a transition day (lots of vacationers coming & going). Being able to move from this quiet upscale resort to the one next to it with it's more active ambiance left us with the best of both worlds. If you go with appreciation of the staff, they will more than exceed your expectations. Amazing trip.

We came home on 1/22/10 and this was the best hotel we stayed at in Punta Cana. We have been to many hotels in the past and this was the best. It is new and clean. The buffet is the best food we have ever had in this island. The seating is facing the beach and is ellegant. The service was great, however, the wine is poor unless you want to pay. Do not go to the house computers they are very, very exspensive. All in all it is quiet and adults only. The next time we will stay longer.

Just got back yesterday and had a great time. After researching the different resorts on-line, we were a little nervous booking here due to the fact that they just opened - it turned out that we had nothing to worry about.
