This was our first trip to the caribbean and we were not disappointed. Our family of four with two teenage daughters had the holiday of a lifetime. Grenada is a wonderful place, a caribbean gem. Having spent many years coming to Grenada and staying at various hotels on the island we chose Mt. Cinnamon as its situation is close to the beach and to the town. We took a 3 bedroom villa, so everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. What a treat of a place! My friends and I were in Grenada as part of an annual getaway. When we showed up in Grenada at the hotel we had booked online, we weren't happy about the location or vibe so we went on a hunt for another hotel. 2 bed villa. Fantastic views of the beach and harbour. friendly service. Sheldon best barman on the island. Relaxing and laid back resort.Decor very chic and modern. Plenty of restaurants very close. Private beach cabana on Grande Anse beach is heaven on earth with great bar and barbecue. Sea warm clear and great for snorkelling with up to 20 pelicans fishing in front of you. We stayed in a 2 bed villa with absolutely amazing views out to St George's. The villas are perfect for a family with children as they have all the facilities you could ever need for self catering, but all the up side of being part of a resort if you want to take it easy. The food in the main restaurant is our of this world - absolutely fantastic. We ate there on several occasions and every dish was wonderful. Worth every penny (well dollar)

Overall this property has huge potential to be fantastic. Located in a perfect position over looking grand anse beach, we had some amazing views of the most popular part of the island. We stayed in a two bedroom property which is ideally suited to self catering, with the kitchens offering all the cooking and dining equipment, including utensils you could ever need - all in first class condition. i stayed at this hotel for a weekend in march, i class myself as quite well travelled and i do not think i have stayed anywhere where i quite felt so relaxed. i stayed in a hacienda room and my view from the huge balcony was heaven, they call it millon doller view and now i know why, it was breath taking. the room was huge it was more like a one bed villa witha huge lounge, kitchen and bedroom. i felt like a princess you have to jump up to get to the huge bed. the staff were lovely really helpful and extremley friendly the hotel... more

I stayed at Mount Cinnamon Feb this year and loved it. It is so rare to find a property in the Caribbean where they find the right balance between self-catering properties and full hotel facilities but I think Mount Cinnamon has done this. The rooms and villas are huge and have everything you would need in them including very cool Smeg fridge /freezers. We had a lovely holiday , the people are really helpful , the food is top class and the location is simply outstanding. From wherever you are in the resort you get million dollar views of the bay , it is really romantic. The accommodation is colorful and very spacious, the beach is one of the best in the caribbean , will definately go back.
