Karon Sea Sands Resort & Spa

From the moment we checked in, there was not a smiling or friendly face to be found. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The pool was great. Our 2 year old loved the kiddy pool. The hotel is right across the street from the beach. The food was good. All these positive things to say, however, the lack of hospitality put a sour taste in our mouth. Abosolutely loved it and would recommend to anyone. Location was great and the rooms were very spacious, clean and with large bathrooms. The pool was wonderful. Our room was not poolside so not sure how the noise would be but loved the concept of the getting to the pool from your patio. My only disappointment was that the pool closed at 7pm - about the time I wanted to go swimming! The hotel is truly just across the road from Karon beach - very short walk. stayed here in march for 11 nights and enjoyed every minute. rooms are clean and of a decent size. lovely pool with swim up bar as well. just across road from the lovely karon beach. plenty of restaurants, bars and shops all a very short walk away. prob one of the best located hotels in karon. would return to this hotel if we visit phuket again.

Me and my friend stayed at this hotel for 10 nights and i must say we couldn't have stayed at a better place. The hotel was very clean and tidy and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.The beach is just across the road from the hotel which was ideal for us and just a short walk to the shops, restaurants etc... I recommend that when you book this hotel you ask for a pool side room as this will give you access to the pool/jacuzi without even stepping out of your room! As a last minute booking this couldn't have been better. The hotel found alternative accomodation for us when the internet sites went down due to an earth quake in taiwan. They also gave us free lunch. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff are really friendly and the pool is excellent. The only problem with this and many of the other hotels we visited was that if you want to spend a day by the pool you need to get out very early to get yourself a lounger. Karon sea sands is great! We love our stay and absolutely enjoyed the people, service and cleanliness. Service was great, pool was beautiful with jacuzzi. This is my 2nd trip to Phuket and this is definitely better than my first. Highly recommend this hotel!

Stayed for one week at Karon Sea Sands in Phuket. Located right across the street from the beach with easy walking to restaurants and shopping. The swimming pool is the best part about the hotel, absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was very nice with very good selection of fresh fruits, etc. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly.

Nice resort with friendly staff and you can get good last minute deals through various websites. I used this one and became a member :). If you get a ground floor room, request one by the pool, that way you get access directly to your balcony. also good for kids if you have any, they will love it. Breakfast is good but eating tends to be a bit overpriced but there are a zillion places to eat on Kraon beach, so that is not an issue. Would definately reccommend it.

This is the first time that i have stayed in Karon but i can assure everyone that when i visit Karon again that i would not stay any where else other than the Karon Sea Sands. The hotel is spotlessly clean, well maintained and the food is superb. The staff ever ready to help with your needs and always with the friendliest and happy smiles. If you choose another hotel you will be doing yourself a disservice.

Stayed at this hotel shortly after the Sunami, we stayed for three weeks, and loved every second of the stay. Clean rooms ,good eating and very friendly staff. Close to everything we needed during our stay. Very good value for money. Yours Sletten
