Nerja Princess
We have just returned from Spain and spent a lovely week in this hotel. We read all the reviews before booking and were not disappointed when we got there. We stayed in the suite on the 2nd floor, extra beds were provided for our 2 daughters. Plenty of room for us all, plus a good sized bathroom with corner bath. This room is at the front of the hotel, overlooking the road. The only downside was the noise at night time from scooters, people and dogs barking. Take your earplugs if you want to get some sleep! The pool area is lovely,... more
Nerja Princess for the 7th time
We have been to Nerja and the Nerja Princess hotel for the 7th time and we will be back in October again. Nerja Princess is the loveliest hotel I know in Spain. The staff is very friendly, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean and nicely furnished and I love the little garden with the pool. The breakfast is very good with different sorts of bread and rolls, fruits, cereals, eggs and bacon and tomatoes, jams, yogourts, cheese and so on. The hotel has only 20 rooms most of them with balcony or terrace. If one wants to have a nice stay... more
Great little hotel - slight problem
Having recently stayed at the Nerja Princess I can agree with the positive comments of previous reviews . The only problem is at the moment there is building work being carried out opposite the hotel which is causing a fair bit of noise. We moved from our booked suite to a double at the back of the hotel after this was offered at check-in due to the noise. Apart from this problem I would stay there again due to the great staff and location. One slight drawback if you have a young baby is the lack of a lift.
An excellent small hotel
We have recently returned from staying 3 nights at the Nerja Princess. The hotel is small, but exceptionally clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed our first night in a first floor room overlooking a pool, but then had to move. Unfortunately the ground floor room we then had smelled slightly of drains, and I could imagine this being more unpleasant in hot weather. However the hotel was excellent apart from that, the breakfasts were also fine. Nice big free car park at the back. Views of the sea behind the car park.... more
Best Hotel in Nerja
This is without doubt the best small hotel in Nerja, the hotel is family run, clean and very friendly. The staff cannot do enough to help, and service is always with a smile, buffet breakfast is excellent. A Andalucian Gem, cannot wait to return.
Super Hotel
Have just had 10 super days at this great little hotel in the old town area of Nerja. Staff are friendly & very helpful, rooms adequate with a nice bathroom. All in all a hotel to be praised. Special thanks to Anna, Maria & David.
A room with/without a view !
We have recently stayed at the Nerja Princess, this is a lovely hotel, small and very clean. The staff are courteous and helpful. The pool area is exeptionally clean as the hotel throughout. We had booked a 10 night stay, but then requested an extension for another 4 nights. We were told we would have to move rooms for the last 5 nights to a room 'overlooking' the street. Our first room was a large room with king size bed and a large bathroom. It was on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the pool, beyond the pool area was a large... more
Charming hotel a few blocks from the ocean
We stayed 1 night at Nerja Princess for 78eur. Great location, 5 min walk to Balcon de Europa. 2 blocks from ocean. I'm guessing there are 20 rooms at the hotel; 12 of them have terraces that overlook the ocean. Rooms were modern and clean. Balcony & bathroom seemed to be fairly newly remodeled. Room was adequate size for 2 people (2 twin beds). Bed was decent (not great, not terrible). Balcony had 2 chairs & table. TV had probably 30 channels, but only a few in English: CNN World, BBC World, SkyNews and World Sport. Room rate included... more
Oasis in the middle of Nerja
We stayed at the Nerja Princess in the middle of June, whilst house hunting in Spain. It is easy to find as it is signposted from the main road into Nerja. On entering the hotel we were pleasantly surprised by the cool marble decor. This hotel has a really friendly feel. The receptionist was kind and helpful. Our room was on the same level as the Reception desk, which in truth made it rather noisy, especially early in the morning with check outs, but don't let this deter you, there are other floors!! Our room was spotless, the bathroom was... more
Fantastic Hotel - Maybe The Best In Nerja
Just returned from my 2nd visit to the Nerja Princess hotel. This is a family run hotel, with about 15 rooms in total just to the left of the Balcon de Europa (about 5 mins walk). The hotel is modern and VERY clean - marble floors throughout, air con, minibar, very friendly staff. Breakfast served to 10.30am (although flexible, we arrived down at 10.50am and got served). It's a buffet style breakfast but if you talk nicely to the cook she will make you bacon & eggs. Great food served all day, Spanish home cooking at its best. <br... more
