This holiday was just perfect....

This holiday was just perfect. Although the travelling to arrive at the island was long and tiresome, the wait was well worth it. On arrival, I found a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The sea front is lined with tavernas where you can dine for small amounts and receive good service. The housekeeper of our studio’s very helpful and friendly-offering us assistance with taxi’s and washing. There is just one night club and a few lively bars-this holiday is suitable for those looking for a relaxed, traditional Greek holiday, with many things to do-although this may not suit the ages between 10-15 where kids want everything

La Luna apartments are a 10min walk from town up a little track opposite the fire station, Elena the housekeeper is wonderful- set in an olive grove so peaceful apart from a cock crowing every morning. We had room 6 over looking the pool - the lower rooms weren’t as good (prone to wasps) very clean, sheets and towels changed every 2 days , plenty of room round the pool, the owner of the apartments also owns the Toxotis Taverna hence the ads everywhere. We tried the taverna and found the food and prices were very good, try Rumours bar Wanda and Paul make everybody so welcome their quiz nights are a laugh a minute, we hired a car from Potos car hire and toured the island we will return Thassos it is a lovely Island.
