can any one tell me what the gym is like in the hotel does it have weights or just running machines and stuff like that? but it looks very nice because i have been to santo tomas hotel, the victoria playa about 10 times so i'd recommend any where in santo tomas because it is amazing. and i doubt any one could have a bad time here it is always hot and something good happening, i just really would like to know what the gym looks like in there because there are no pictures :( so can anyone help me?

All aspects of the hotel are very clean including room, corridors, public spaces, pool and pool area and grassed area. 90% Brits 10% German and Spanish. Clients have nasty habbits of putting towels on sunbeds early then not using until later in the morning. Hotel policy is no reserving sunbeds? Sea is good to swim in when green flag is flying. 2 people were drowned our first week as they swam when yellow flag was flying. Strong under current.
Food is fairly good with wide choice and good english hot breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Mini bar costs 19euros stocked with soft drinks or 13euros just for fridge. Can't remember what the safe cost, but you get 6euros back when you return the key. There is also a small library.
Not much in the way of evening entertainment, about four times per week, but there are plenty of walks. ATM machine just past the supermarket on the right as you come out of the hotel. Santo Tomas is very small and it is worth going on trips around the island or hire a car.
Overall a good relaxing holiday.

May 2010, Jusy stayed 4 nights but could have stayed a week. ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms good size but pay the extra for a fab sea view. The walls are alittle thin could clearly hear the lady next door with her bad cough. The fridge was free and the bed turned down every night with a choc on the pillow and next days weather on a little card. There was no charge for a swim in the indoor pool and jacuzzi. There were no towels left on sun beds though the hotel was not full. The setting of this hotel is beautiful right on the beach. The hotel and resort is very quiet not for single groups at all. But this is what made it perfect for us. A quiet relaxing few days no noise no shopping.The walk over to Son Bou was lovely took about an hour and alittle uneven in parts. Sat had a drink at a beach bar then looked in the shops. (about 6 clothes shops) but smart ones. Then walked back to Santo Tomas.
One morning we took the bus to Citudella 3 euro the old centre is well worth a visit. We took the bus to Mahon which is very pretty too another must see. Next time we will go for a week and hire a car and visit other snall resorts. To sum up if you want peace and quiet in a lovely setting ideal for walks then go. If you need shops and entertainment stay away. This was the end of May before high season so it could change July/August. Hope not.
