gr8 food and holiday
from sagarforex
the hotel is not very close to beach which is not very good, but it is not kms far too. thre is no good view (scenic) but we enjoyed the hotel itself. The pool is gr8, the bar around it was my fav. The buffet variety and food is awesome. everyone is very helpful, pleasing and not very money minded. unlike other places, they dont keep on charging for small stuff like internet useage, gym, pool other activities. goa being a hot season was not as much fun as the hotel itself.
The One place you get to see both sides of Goa- the beach and the countryside
from travelbug_a29
A fairly new hotel, Fortune Select Regina, off Fort Aguada Rd, exceeded my expectations since I had not previously stayed in any of their other Fortune properties. Their systems are still falling into place, however it is a great place to stay. Just 8 minutes from the beach, I enjoyed both the countryside and the beach as the hotel is located right in the middle of a village. The pool view rooms are the best. The rooms are modern and comfortable and each room has an attached veranda. The staff is courteous and attend to your every needs....

Not worth the money charged.
from TravellerBhai
Negatives First: 1. Travel arrangements are horrible. We landed and Goa airport and pickup was to be arranged. After much efforts (20 mins) driver appeared with placard. Not a great thing to start holiday. We asked him to take us to Hotel and he said that he is waiting for another guest who is also coming at same time. No problem with that except that car he was having was swift and three of us were to sit at back seat!. We waited for another 30 mins, but I think another guest missed the flight. Finally we went to hotel. Also in...

Management response from AVarma
Dear Sir / Madam,
At the onset, i would like to thank you for this very constructive feedback, and would like to share with you on what we have done, to ensure that this is not repeated :
We have after your comments, managed to change the travel desk.
As you rightly mentioned the beach is about 700 mts from the hotel, so we now have a complimentary pick up and drop through out the day for our guests to the beach and back.
After we spoke, I personally went and checked out the cruise and have now negotiated with another vendor. However please understand that the profile on these cruises is really not under our control.
We have taken a decision ,that all conference activities hereon shall be held in the hall or in an other area that we have identified....so this should not be repeated.
We are in the process of setting a new menu for the coffee shop with a kids section . This should be in place in another 10 days.
I would once again like to thank you for this feed back, it can really help us improve. Please do call me when you are planning a vacation next .
Rgds.

Travel Dept Sucks
from MUMKAL
Hi Guys Being an ITC member , Recently i have been to this hotel with my family, few things i just want to share with you all, THE TRAVEL DEPT SUCKS. 1. We had been given complimentary Pickup & drop facility ,but After confirming in advance , the Hotel car doesnt arrived at Thivim Rlwy station. When we called the reception they told to take the prepaid cab and in return they will reimburse the amount. There is no comparison between a black yellow taxi and an AC car. 2. The same situation happens next day when my friends...

Wonderful experience
from J0292672
As the hotel was new and had just opened in December 2009, everything in the hotel was clean and nice. The hospitality was wonderful and every staff was ready to help. Although the only problem that we found was at the breakfast, lunch and dinner. As the package we had gone included everything, the hotel was very slow in replenishing the food item once it was over. The rooms were very clean Avoid the hotel if they have company who is having a conference. .
Very, very nice!
from L0ux
My husband and I stayed here for a week and it was our first time to Goa. For us one of the best things about the hotel is the lack of tourists and the friendliness of the staff. Whilst there was a conference in the hotel for the first couple of days of our stay it certainly didn't interfere with the general peace and tranquillity of the hotel, which is a blessed relief after the heat and hustle and bustle of the resort. The hotel is nice, the public areas are clean and well maintained. The hotel is newly opened but not new - it has...

Not really a resort! The true review.
from higurpreet
After seeing their beautiful pictures and nice description given on the website, we got tempted to try this property. We went in a group of 4 couples with huge expectations for the resort. However, there were some issues which made our stay unpleasant. We reached the resort at 5 pm and wanted to enjoy the pool, however, by the time we changed and planned for a swim, the pool was closed. When later on we decided to sit by the poolside to enjoy a drink, the hotel had organized a poolside conference, Therefore no in-house guests were...

Great Place. Great Food. Good service.
from Pastelpond
Its a new hotel, and has that freshness to it. Neat and very well appointed rooms, good service, buffet meals had great spread to them. Tasty and healthy too. We binged. Big time. Had taken their winter package, which included pick up and drop, all meals, welcome drink, port wine and cashew pack onces during the stay (this never happened though!), sight seeing, tea/coffee maker in room etc The pickup was a coach, which meant we had to wait for other travellers during the lunch hrs, given that it was a long drive from airport,...

Very good new hotel
from SharonSurrey
We stayed here for 5 days, after a week at a villa and enjoyed our stay. It's 5 mins walk from Candolim beach, near the boat. We stayed on an all-inclusive winter pachage, for approx £50 a night. The food was outstanding, loads of choice, and you could eat extremely healthily or binge on curries. (However the food is so good and cheap in Candolim that if we went again we wouldn't go all in. - we'd already done a a week self catering at a villa, and thoroughly sampled the local fare.). The accomodation was very good - the beds were...

Very Good High Standard Hotel
from ArchieRaven
Location: quiet area of Candolim set back approx 500 metres from the main road, about 7 mins walk to the beach. Great views over looking the surrounding countryside & hills. Facilities: Good sized pool, Gym, Spa, Bar, 2 restaurants. In rooms: Wi-Fi, Big Screen TV, safe, good sized balcony, giant sized bed, Air Con. Staff: Excellent....they couldn't do more for you. Always very helpful ! Overall: Nice, quiet, clean hotel....not overly suited though to anyone looking for a boozey, karaoke, full english breakfast type holiday....
