Terrible experience
from karimora
I and my collegues stayed in the hotel for E-MRS conference in June 2006 because it was suugested to us by organizers. The day before departure a Sony VAIO laptop has been stoled from our room. We went to police, brought back to hotel a police protocol and they promised to pay the price from their insurance. However, after 6 months they did NOT and I had to pursue own travel insurance. The breakfast was terrible, once milk was missing, then orange juice, then there were no caps, etc. The stuff does not care about the hotel and it is...

Great Value, Enjoyable Stay, No Complaints
from TR4VEL0R
The Citea Nice Acropolis turned out to be a great choice for our stay in April 2007. Before booking I read a number of reviews on this website and others – which were generally positive, but with a few negative points that I feel worth updating. Firstly, writers were critical about the lack of air conditioning. During my 2-night stay it was only forecast to be 17C, so I decided to overlook this (normally it’s one of my key requirements). However, it turned out the hotel is currently installing air conditioning throughout, to be...

Good Value for Money
from Nozza_UK
This hotel was above average in respect of the location, and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The only things we had problems with were that the bed linen wasn't changed every day - chambermaid changed bed linen on the day we were in the room, but it wasn't changed again during our 8 day stay - we know this because some coffee was spilt on the sheets and it was never changed. The swimming pool was lovely except that one side of the ladder was very loose and would be dangerous to use - that was like it the whole of our stay,...

Whatever you do, Do Not stay in this hotel.
from Torpeda
Whatever you do, DO NOT stay in this hotel. The staff in reception are rude (and I dealt with three different individuals in total), impolite, arrogant, unfriendly and not at all helpful. While there, our rooms were left open by the cleaning staff and our luggage was gone through. When I complained to reception ( I speak fluent french), I was given no apology, no plan of action and made to feel like an idiot. All she said was that you can complain to the manager, which she conveniently knew would not be back until after I left the hotel....

Great budget choice
from NorthYorkshire
We had 3 nights in this residential hotel but would have happily stayed for a week.4 of us( 2 young children) shared a self catering studio.Spacious, clean, good storage.Room had balcony facing an inner courtyard which was big enough for the 4 of us to eat around the table on.Bathroom was a good size, spotlessly clean with a great hand held shower and bath.Rooftop pool was a huge bonus as ,during our stay it was far too hot to risk the beach.Kitchenette was decently equipped with fridge, hob, micro, kettle.Netto supermarket about 3 mins walk...

Never stay in street -side room during summer
from barbiebarbie
Although the facilities are new, exclude terrible elevator, never stay the room close to the street. They do not have air-conditioner, you have to open the window to sleep during hot summer. But the road is continuously noisy all the night so you wont be able to sleep at all !!!! When I tried to sleep I totally fail!! The noise just like the bus is beside me! Terrify experience!!! It is non-sense they give thier customers street-side room during summer.
Very good value for money
from Kat_Voyager
I just came back from a 2-week vacation in Nice at the French Riviera. I stayed at the Citea Acropolis which proved to be a very good choice. The place was very clean and well situated, at only a 10min walk from Nice's old city and 15min from the beach. The people at the reception desk were always friendly. Especially, the manager was extremely helpful and would go the extra mile to please guests. I would definitely recommend the place to those who are looking for a non-luxury nonetheless good accomodation in the city of Nice.
Clean - Tidy - Good Location
from CharlieDogUk
My Partner and I stayed here twice in one week once at the beginning of the week and 3 nights at the end of our visit to Nice, The hotel is situated on the east side of the Acroplis exibition centre on a quite (for Nice) link road Blvrd Risso. it only took 25 mins max from the airport. The Hotel is Clean and well kept well in fact i think the building must be very new so good standerds all round. room's are mini self catering suits so if you are on a budget but want a comfortable room this would be excellent as there is a small...

Good location, mixed feelings about the hotel
from beso14
We stayed in the Citea Nice Acopolis for two nights. When we first got to the room I was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean and modern looking. It even had a mini kitchenette and a balcony. The view was of the inner courtyard/other people's apartments but it was still nice. The mattress was really hard and barely budged when I plopped down on it. The location was a stone's throw away from the Acropolis which I'm sure is very convenient for anyone attending a convention there. It was about a 5 minute walk to Old Nice and about a...

Terrific budget option in Nice
from alison lee
good location next to the Acropolis, steps to the modern art museum and a short walk to the old city. modern, just completed bldg. Stayed in a studio which is a good sized room with a bed, desk, dining table, 2 straight-backed chairs, & a full-sized bed. Request a balcony. Has kitchenette w/microwave oven (no instructions) & dishes w/pots & pans. Private bath w/stall shower. Great water pressure. Lots of lights. No carpet on tiled floors. Has satellite TV & phone. Best 2-star I've stayed in. Young people are pleasant, if...
