Nergis Select Hotel

ok i stayed in this hotel in august 1st impression the hotel is clean which is a no.1 in my books when we got to our room i saw it was 2 singles of which i booked a double anyway got that sorted as i was with my girl lol the air con in that room was really [--] so check it to see if it gets nice an cool the hotel itself is really hot especially in hot season they dont turn a/c on around hotel (ur rooms r fine) if ur gonna change ur money change in the hotel as them cheeky twats in the money offices charge a whoppin 10% not good or... more

We arrived at the nergis Beach club in July after we had booked a family room we were missallocated a Single room we complained and were offered accomodation in nergis select - which we grabbed with both hands the hotel is lovely the staff are great - they could not do enough to help us. we liked the chilled out feel to the hotel and the fact you could use the nergis beach club facilities complex when you wanted a bit of hustle and bustle. From my own experience I had a fantastic time..... The staff were very friendly and polite ........ my room was clean and changed regular.... could this have been because I was treated in the same way I treated the staffs which was repectfully and without predjudice..... I think so.... These people are not slaves ...... so why are peole expecting them be? To be totally honest their were a couple english families, whilst I was there ready and waiting to pounce on new arrivals to bad mouth the hote which I thought was a bit off putting... more

We have just returned from a holiday in Turkey, this has been the worst year ever in the 7 years we've been to Turkey ad the worst hotel. We were booked in to the sister hotel, Nergis Beach. However when we arrived we were told that our room had been double booked so we had to be moved to Nergis Select. The hotel is situated above a restaurant/nightclub called Al Fresco where the music was blasted until all hours of the morining which is not very suitable for families with children. hotel clean and tidy food ok, staff friendly,location good. if you get this hotel for a good price you could do a lot worse.

DONT BELIEVE ANY OTHER REVIEWS ON THIS HOTEL IT IS FANTASTIC!! The hotel was extremely clean and tidy at all times. The receptionist was very helpful. The pool area was again very clean, goold size pool with child pool. The Bar man was very entertaining and ended up in the pool for being cheeky!!We were on Bed and Breakfast and it was very nice, fresh omlettes, fried eggs, toast, jams, cheese, ham, cereal, tea, coffee, orange juice etc. ALL 8 OF US HAD A FANTASTIC TIME AND WILL DEFINATELY BE GOING BACK NEXT YEAR OR MAYBE LATE THIS... more

We stayed at the Nergis Select Hotel in May 08 and thoroughly enjoyed it. This hotel is not to be confused with the Nergis Beach Club, it's sister hotel which is 5 minutes away which is bigger and somewhat different. The Nergis Select is a small and modern hotel, built in 2004 and it certainly has a luxurious feel about it. The hotel's own website is definitely a true reflection of what to expect. We visited in April (just prior to the start of the season), very disappointing, Food was very poor, we went half board, but only ate there 4 times in a week. We were not looking for "English" food, but even so the food were dreadful, it was as if they were not even trying as the season had not started. Local restaurants were plentiful and very cheap so try them. Rooms were a good size and bathroom looked recently decorated. The hotel location is very good with the beach only a 2min walk away. I take a lot of store by the reviews I read on this website, so I wanted to write one as honestly and accurately as I could. I really enjoyed my stay at the Nergis Select Hotel (Not the Nergis Beach). I stayed from 11-18 Oct 07 which is coming towards the end of season, but virtually everywhere was open and weather average about 30-31 degrees. I am 24 and my partner is 28. Just returned from the Nergis Select. Very disappointing, surly staff dressed in jeans or shorts and teeshirts. Food poor, definitely not catering for British tastes, no sign of a rasher of bacon although plenty available in road side restaurants at very cheap prices. Rooms although well sized and laid out were not hoovered during whole of two week stay but this was not surprising as the maid was not supplied with a hoover.
