The worst!
from jj_from_phila
Just returned from a holiday at this "resort" - it was one of the worst resorts that I have stayed. We exchanged a timeshare and were lead to believe that we could sleep 4 - what a joke - the sofa bed pulled out to reveal a single bed on the floor. How this was supposed to sleep 4 is beyond comprehension! When we reported this to the front desk - they responded that we have unreasonable expections as they have not had this complaint prior. The accomodations were old and well worn. The resort had a serious crime problem - there...

Welcome to britain on sea!
from mab1
If you are an independant, 30-something who wants a base from which to enjoy experience the joys of mediterranean spain then this is not the place for you. If you a middle aged couple with kids who enjoy shouting from 9 in the morning to 12 at night then you're in for a treat. The pool area is crowded and noisy, the entertainment 'turns' are mindnumbingly shocking and everything within the resort is overpriced. They obviously bypassed the all-inclusive approach as you even have to pay for your electricity on checking out (cost 60...

Nice but not close to anything else!
from 271blah
Great accomodation (room 2), looked like new fixtures, furnishings & cookware. Microwave, TV and DVD in room. Small terrace onto central pool area; kids pool only knee deep & other pool 1.7metres deep so even I couldn't stand!.Other pool by tennis courts, crazy golf and boules much better for children as it slopes from 1m to 1.8 metres. Food portions at main restaurant were obscenely massive and almost off putting. Ask if you can share one main course between two or order the children's ortions which themselves are more than an adult...

Los Amigos Aug 2007
from SunSEASANDANDXXX
We have just returned from Los Amigos where we stayed for 1 week. The cab fair from the airport was 45 euros for a family of 4 with luggage and takes about 30 minutes transfer. The complex is very clean and tidy and apartments are cleaned every day except Sundays. The access to rooms is controlled by key card which is very good as some local youths did used to congregate in the late evening. The food on the resort was ok at La Casitas and the pizzeria. Because the resort is a bit isolated we ate just up the road most evenings (Out of...

A great place for families!
from JBramley
We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with Sunterra, the holiday club of which we're members. The accommodation was very clean and spacious. The pool and public areas were very well cared for. The lifeguards were vigilant and the activities were fun without being too "holiday camp". The area was very secure and safe for our children (age 12 and 15). They had all they needed on site - pool tables, table tennis, tennis, football, internet, etc. The on-site restaurants were surprisingly good quality and value for money.<br...

A really nice resort
from Cosmicgirl-8
I have just returned from a week at Los Amigos with a friend and their family. The resort is extremely clean (all areas - apartments, pool and grounds) and the staff were all very friendly. We were situated by the main pool and as it was not at the height of the season, it was relatively quiet and there were plenty of sunbeds. The pool bar was open and it was a good atmosphere. The daily activities were good fun (quizzes, darts, table tennis etc and lots for kids) and the staff were great. There is a childs pool and a 'main'...

Absolutly Superb
from PITRAVELLEER
We have just returned from a week here. I had two 3 bedroom apartments on the ground floor, very near reception, for 12 of us. On arrival the staff were extremely helpful and gave us good answers to all our questions. The apartments were immaculate, well laid out and contained everything we needed. A room safe was available to rent (12 euros) and there were lockable gates on the outside of the patio doors, so security was no problem. Maid service was provided each day (except Sunday). We overlooked the main pool and there was...

Loved it!!
from gail_u
My boyfriend and I stayed here through my parent's time share between 25aug and 08 sept last year, ( we were 18 and 19 at the time) We loved it!! Its probably one of the best places I have stayed. As we booked our accomodation and flights seperately, we had to make our own way to the Beach Club, costing us around 30euros in a taxi, which was a bit steep we thought! Once there the reception staff were so friendly, speaking fluent in english. They were really helpful and told us of the local places we could go, and how to get to the...

Hated it We were robbed
from Snowyret
This resort has serious security issues, we had our appartment broken into due to the total lack of security for this resort they provided suberb swiming pool safety to excess ! but the accomadation can be broken into at will as ours was and the staff of this resort could'nt careless it took them two attempts to relocate us, needless to say we will not be returning to Los Amigos and would advise others not but if you do take a chance please use the room safe and alarm .
Out of town- not for families
from JED20
Have just returned from 2 weeks at the LABC. Very disapointed. We checked in to then find that we had to carry the suitcases up 2 flights of stairs- with 7 suitcases and 4 kids this is a bit difficult. The rooms are of an ok standard- all that you need from an apartment- however don't bother with the welcome pack as the shop is open on sundays despite what Sunterra tell you. The pool in the middle of the complex is very dangerous- although a lifeguard is present and the depth is indicated, it is all one depth- I saw many children and...
