Caprici Verd

Booked this hotel for a three night stay in which to visit Barcelona and also experince Costa Brava. Location was absolutely ideal 100m from station as descriped. The photos on the website are a true reflection of the hotel. Rooms were of a good size two large firm beds as expected nice HOT powerful shower. Only disappoint in the room were no english channels on tv which would have come in handy on the rainy night we experienced. We arrived to the hotel on a Saturday for a weeks holiday. Hotel was very busy as it was the Easter weekend. The hotel was quiet on Monday until Wednesay. On Wednesday Greek students arrived, they were staying on our floor. The noise was unbarely and extremely loud. They knocked on our door thoughout the night and rang our hotel phone. They were shouting and screaming all the time. I was so happy to get home for a rest. Food was great on the first night but then the menu didnt change I was so fed up eating the same food... more

Had a great stay in this hotel, the area was a bit quiet but very relaxing and clean. I expect in the height of season it would be a great place to go and stay what ever age you are. The staff where very friendly and helpful and we had maid service every day.The food was nice and they had a big variety to choose from, I would definatly go back for another stay there.

Just returned from a week at the Caprici Verd. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and we liked the recycling and energy conservation measures. Loved the two double beds in our twin room with views over the pool and the sea. Huge walk-in shower, bidet etc, again, all spotlessly clean. Plenty of hot water, towels, and complimentary toiletries. We found the food excellent, not haute cuisine perhaps, but plentiful, and very varied. No problems with queuing, and the fresh griddled fish every day was superb, as were the juicy pork chops.... more

We had a 6 day stay. Hotel very clean. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. TV useless to English speaking people, but lockable fridge very useful. Located just 10 mins walk from town centre. Indoor pool excellent. Only real downside was the very ordinary food on offer. We did not look forward to meal times. The bar had little atmosphere. Staff were quite friendly and helpful. If we went back it would only be for bed and breakfast. Very handy to rail and road transport. € 6.20 return to Barcelona, train every 30 mins.

We are two couples with a child each. We spent seven nights there. The location is good, just in front of the train station. It's a 15 minutes walk from Malgrat del Mar, which is busier and nice for shopping and nightlife. The hotel is modern, in a quiet place near the beach, The bedrooms and the bathrooms are large and every room has a balcony. We stayed here for six nights with our two boys. The room was very basic nothing fancy about it - our view was off a carpark so that wasnt great either - you need to request a pool view if staying here in this hotel. Also need to watch the maids they dont knock the door just walk right into your room - bit mad if standing naked in the shower!! So we had to put our suitcase behind the door to try and stop them from getting into the room, they are a pain though. The hotel charges for everything such as a key for the room... more

I've just return from Spain - what a beautiful country! My family and my friends stayed at Caprici Verd in Santa Susana. One of the reasons for we have chosen this hotel was because the train RENFE to Barcelona has the station just about 50 m in front of the hotel and make very easy transport to this amazing metropolis (we wanted not only a relaxation vacancy ). The hotel was very clean, with a big and nice furnished room (I liked the 2 big beds). The bathroom and the balcony I liked too. The food was good. I swam every morning... more

Just got back from a week at the Caprici Verd. I stayed with my wife and 12 year old son. We were on half board. The food was not bad but very repetitive and a bit too dry, but certainly edible. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We come from a tourist resort so were not looking for the beach or pool but the latter looked clean and the beach was on the other side of the road. The hotel was perfectly situated for us opposite the train station and pick up points for all tours and shuttle services to water parks etc.

We have just returned from 4 very relaxing days here. The staff are excellent most speak fluent English and are very helpful. The hotel is spotless and clean, the maids make a lovely job. The rooms are above average and the beds are very firm to say the least but this suited us, our room looked over the pool and had a view of the sea also, although it did look directly into the rooms of the hotel next door.
