Evenia Olympic Park

We just arrived back from Olympic Park Hotel - and the weather was bloody crap :(. Personally the hotel is more fussed about there all exclusive customers than the others - which I found terrible - Food was lovely the first week , but by the second week it got kinda boring! I went with my partner and daughter - and I DO think the entertainment i.e Mini Disco was good for the kids - my girl loved it and the Evenia fun club staff. this hotel is advertised for families ye they have a mini disco at night and the reps at night were great with the kids but unfortunatly there was a lack of comunication betweeen the kids clubs reps durin the day. my little girl was in playin on her own one day and the reps sat up on the work top and spoke to each other. my dad had booked in to a single room this room was like a cell in a jail there was no room to swing a cat. im not sure if it was the time of year was wrong but this hotel was the base for a football tournement... more

Me and my boyfriend stay 1 week half board in this hotel and thought it was fab. We were on the third floor looking over the Olympic stlye pool. The rooms were a good size but they would need a good upgrading as the balcony was rather ugly and old looking. One other thing about the rooms are the walls are very very very thin you can hear you very loud neighbours having a conversation and the kids crying The lifts are very very slow so we took the stairs most of the time. Myself and my partner have just returned from a week at this hotel and absolutely loved it, I cannot see why there have been any bad reports written about it. I can only think that such people are used to 5* plus or hotels that don't allow children, as this was very much a family hotel. We were meant to be staying in the Olympic Park, but upon arrival we were told we had been upgraded to an Olympic suite for free, which was fine by us! A nice suprise, what a gem of a place for a all ages! Came here on a girlie break with daughter and some friends and had a lovely time- also felt very safe here as there is excellent security and always someone not to far away if you have any difficulties. I went with my family last summer and found the stay to be quite nice. We stayed for two weeks half board. I'm not sure about the other reviews here, but the staff we met were very nice and helpful. They would remeber who we were and would even stop to have a chat. The food for a hotel of this caliber was in my opinion good, and I don't see any reason for complaint. Lloret de Mar was beatiful and we had many nice walks. The entertainment was ok, people seemed to enjoy it except for one night were there really was a "tough crowd". The rooms... more

Very Very Very disappointed with this hotel. We looked through all the galleries and thought this hotel looks perfect and boy where we wrong. We arrived for a short break on Friday 15th June 2007 - When we arrived they could'nt even find our booking we waited over 1/2 hour and they eventually found us. We were put on the 3rd floor and it just so happened there was approx 150 spainsh kids staying on a football tournement. Stayed there for 2 weeks half board and found the hotel staff very helpfull have read other reviews and maybe the people should make an effort to say simple greetings in Spanish instead of being totally ignorant to their language and culture. The hotel was mostly full of Spanish, German and French and some English and im glad there was not many English as they made me feel ashamed to call myself British

This hotel has been advertised as a 3 to 4 star hotel by some travel agents and the hotel itself rates itself as a 4 star. I have to say that the hotel is no where near a 4 star and is at best a 3 star. The hotel itself is in good condition and well presented on the surface with a nice foyet and pool and a descent bar, restaurant and room, everything you would expect from a self proclaimed 4 star hotel Beneath the surface lies a lot of problems though. Great hotel with good food for a tour group of 16 yr old footballers and their parents. Well satisfied with services, facilities and location. Would travel again with family.
