VIK Club Coral Beach

Just returned from a fantastic holiday at Coral Beach. Overall clean, staff friendly and efficient, villas comfortable and food excellent and varied - catering for most tastes. All inclusive drinks are good quality, not diluted as expected. Entertainment for both children and adults. Free coach into playa blanca daily otherwise a pleasant 1 and a half hour walk but taxis cheap anyway. Nothing much around the complex except a couple of other villa complexes and a mini market only 5 mins walk.

Newly opened so everything was spick and span.all the staff were excellent and couldnt do enough for us.The two bedroomed villas were spacious and very comfortable.The hotel is in a quiet location about an hours walk fromPlaya Blanca ,but there is a shuttle bus,When we go back we will hire a car (most of the cost of this will be met by the transfer fee)We enjoyed our holiday,particularly as if anything wasnt quite right,it was immediately put right by the staff.

My husband and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary. As we're a bit low on income, we picked this resort for the price, but fell in love with it! Due to it's location, it is priced very well. It is on the ocean front, but it's more like a rocky cliff than a beach. However, they do have a free shuttle that takes you out to the beach in the morning and comes back at twice in the afternoon. Have just returned from a week's holiday here and we got what we were looking for - a quiet, relaxing break in the sun in a really nice hotel. I went with my elderly, visually impaired mother, my auntie and my 3 year old daughter. As everywhere was on a flat level, this meant that my mum did not have too much bother getting around. The room was excellent with two good size bedrooms and a spacious living area with a kitchenette. Booked the hotel through A1 Travel as stated was close to Playa Blanca beach and town - wrong!!! - hotel is about 4.5 miles from the port of Playa Blanca and 5 miles from Dorada Beach. Walked it one day and took 1hour and 40 minutes. On the positive it is a lovely walk along the coastal path. The hotel itself is very clean and the bungalow apartments are brand new and very spacious. We stayed 7 nights and had the room cleaned and towels changed all but one day. we arrived on the 13th swerving around the ash cloud to get here ,we had steak and chips for lunch great there were 5 other people there yes 5 it holds 240 ,3 days later it run out of drinks, a water machine was brought in and wine went from a bottle each meal to sip if u begged off a great young staff the upstanding friendly Juan was the top waiter by a mile the food is PORK every meal Fish ebery meal squid every meal chips you guest it every meal bread good rolls ready for the cricket pitch ,apartment excellent 10/10 bed v/hard queen sized... more

Arrived 13th May. Hotel very isolated. Main resort a good hour and half walk. Courtesey bus leaves hotel in the morning and returns x2 per day thankfully.Hotel not located in main resort.Would be best to hire a car for your stay. Food choice limited, often cold. Ran out of drinks whilst there and this aint good on an all inclusive basis. On a positive note the waiters/ waitresses are lovely. Entertainment limited and needs something more. A 2 bedroom villa on all inclusive! Spotless, the staff are brilliant, food is varied and there is always something you like. In a quiet area so not for chavs, lager louts and those who want to party all night. Just left today and will be back very soon. Book while it's this price!

We arrived saturday- The apartments were oly opened last Monday -They are all brand new and very nice, the whole site is really nice - however its in the middle of nowhereand in the cloudy weather that we have had and the freezing wind sadly we can only look at the lovely (unheated) clean pool. The local town is one and a half ours away but you can get a bus there however it only runs once a day.
