Loved it
from londontravellista
The hotel is some 15min from the airport/under 15 euros one way on what could be described as a very pleasurable drive near the sea and then through the small roads of the old town. The hotel is a beautiful combination of old exposed bricks and 4-5 meters high ceilings (prob only on the first floor) with clean cut modern lines and a gorgeous terrace above the second floor with amazing but limited views towards the sea and west with nice relaxing music and comfy chaise longues. My initial room had a strange 'electrics' noise when...

Impeccably stylish hideaway
from Stylefreak
The location is perfect for exploring old town. The mattresses are perfect for a good sleep. The spa with jacuzzi and saunas is perfect for evening relaxation. The rooftop area is perfect for sunbathing. The breakfast buffet is healthy and elegant. The interior design is very stylish. The staff is very helpful. This is an ideal urban hotel.
Great location, fantastic rooms
from bennas123
I stayed here for 4 nights in Feb 2009 with my wife and daughter. This hotel is fantastic for a city break in Palma only minutes away on foot to the main shopping area and less than 5 minutes away on foot from the cathedral. The roof terrace overlooks the cathedral and is a geat place to sun bathe or just chill and overlook the city. I would say his hotel is ideal for a romantic getaway as its small and intimate (onl 20 rooms) however the staff were very friendly towards my 7 year old and she was more than welcome to use the spa area...

Absolutely lovely
from bel80
Our travel was in December, so not particularly a busy period, but nevertheless a great way to escape the big city and relax. Santa Clara was what we wanted. It wasn't too far from the cathedral, and located in the Old Town, very good area to walk around, get lost, and enjoy. The location was approx 10-15 mins to the shopping areas and to the restaurant area. There was a really good family restaurant just buildings away that's not often open, but a lovely treat! We stayed 2 nights in a standard double room, which was at very good...

Modern Comfort in the Old City
from Rumples
.We spent three nights, including New Year's Eve, in this lovely boutique hotel, which opened last April. The former old mansion now holds 20 guest rooms and a spa with many offerings, including massages. Its location in Palma's historic center is quiet and close to numerous attractions, such as the cathedral and the Palau March. Our immaculate standard room was huge with a 14-foot beamed ceiling and stone walls. It overlooked a garden and the Santa Clara convent. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and the flat-screen TV...

Great Modern Hotel with Friendly Staff- B&B Atmosphere
from The-Georgia-Longs
The Santa Clara is hiding in the alleys of Old Town Palma, but when you find it, you know you have found something special! For our family of two adults and two teenagers it worked out great. The only complaint I had was the noise level (thin walls and we were outside the front desk), but all else was terrific! The room was huge! We had to ask the front desk if they would cover the window looking into the shower (no problem for couples, big issues for teenagers)! The staff was so accomodating- especially the lady from Sweden...

Peace & Comfort in the Historical heart of Palma
from Pleasurethug
Brand new modern style hotel. Friendly and considerate staff. Pristine rooms. Good breakfast if you want it. Fantastic jacuzzi bath in suites. Comfy rooftop terrace.10 minutes walk to shops and Cathedral. 15 minutes stroll to the main restaurant district, La Lonja. Located in a quiet street in the historical part of the city - two minutes from the convent of the same name and the enchanting 'Arab baths' and garden. Very good local taverna (Xelini) just a few doors down from the hotel - but you must book. Enjoyed a very pleasant week. Will...

Santa Clara - Perfect hotel
from charlotte023
This hotel is a gem, it has only been open for a few months so everything is absolutely brand new. The staff are really friendly and can't do enough for you. Hotel is spotless, very cool and trendy, roof terrace rocks too. My boyfriend and I recently stayed for a week and we sunbathed on the terrace a few times, as the place only has 16 rooms we had the terrace pretty much to ourselves. Location is good too, 5min walk to main bar/restaurant area and close to beach. Rooms are lovely and have everything you need. I would love to go back,...

Superb hotel in Palma Old Town!
from Seamo
We stayed for one night to see something of Palma before heading north for a week on the island and the Hotel Santa Clara proved an inspired choice! The hotel is in the Old Town, so away from the hustle, bustle & commercialism of the big hotels around the harbour but near enough to walk to the sights, shops & restaurants. The peaceful location was an excellent way to start our holiday! The hotel itself has only been opened a few months. The decor is boutique and our room was really nice - minimalist furniture, a lovely comfy bed,...

Fantastic hotel in a perfect location
from Plumhues
We have just come back from a 3 night stay at this newly opened hotel. It was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean and well furnished, with a large and comfortable bed. The price of the standard double was excellent compared to other similar hotels. Our advice would be to ask for a room on the first or second floor. Although there was no balcony, there is a sun terrace on the roof with 3 separate areas which was empty every time we went up there. The views over Palma are fantastic from the roof top and it was great to have outside...

Easy to reach from the airport - 2Euro on the number 1 bus, alight at first stop after the bus has turned off the coast road and the hotel is signed from there. Less than 10 minute walk and good introduction to the old Arab quarter. Staff were really very friendly and... more
