I can only agree with the vast majority of reviews on the excellent rooms and staff. It's all be covered many times before, so I'm only going to add my voice in agreement. The one area not often covered in reviews, is the restaurant. The company tries to operate the hotel and restaurant as separate entities. This is good for those of us who believe you have to go to a restaurant for good food (they're the experts ..... is the view) I'm amongst this category so it was with some uncertainty that we tried the Trebol restaurant... more

The staff were so friendly for a capital city hotel. Their manners were perfect and they remembered your name without imposing.The rooms are large, clean, contemporary and the mini bar prices are great. The courtyard is a perfect haven from the buzz of the city. I loved the family sized bombay saphire and tonics on an evening. We stayed one night in this hotel in Palma and thought it was excellent. Smart and contemporary but very good value for money. Rooms were a decent size and very clean, breakfast was great. Location was excellent, tucked away in Palma's quirky back streets and easy walking distance to everything. Spent two nights at this hotel 7th/8th August 2007 with my Mum. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the hotel was exceptionally clean, very contemporary and bar the lack of soap (small pun! - which was quickly resolved) we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. This hotel is a lovely, pleasant and friendly place to be. Staff can't do enough for you - very very nice indeed. The breakfast buffet is served in an air-conditioned pleasant restaurant and you can take your food and eat in the shaded courtyard if you wish. Our double bedroom was spacious and very nicely equiped - bathroom was small - didn't bother us but watch your arm on the door handles! I have just returned from 4 nights in Palma - a fantastic city and a lovely break away. I can't say enough nice things about this hotel - great location in the heart of the old town, clean and stylish, the staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, the breakfast was lovely - as were the cocktails.... having stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Mision De San Miguel, i'm delighted to report this is a first class hotel, for very reasonable rates. Don't be put off by the approach, it is a little miserable, but the hotels beauty soon lets you forget. We requested a courtyard room and recommend you do this, as I believe the views from other rooms are not too good! This place is a real find and I can’t believe what good value it is! As others have posted, the staff is exceptional – very accommodating, friendly and always helpful in terms of local information. The Internet is free in the rooms, though they have a limited supply of Ethernet cables (there was a run on when I got there) so picked up one while shopping in El Courtes Ingles (department store). Great hotel, centrally located. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. Shame the taxis won't drive you up to the door...
