Club San Miguel

This hotel needs a little decor work as it is dated, it has potential for a 4* hotel with its location right on the beach and excellent food and drink. It was very clean and the cleaners worked all day none stop. The pools are brilliant and clean, ample sunloungers, all staff are very polite and hard working. The only problem with the hotel location is that it is in the middle of nowhere and a thirty minute drive to Ibiza town or San Antonio, set in a bay with a two mile very steep hill to it. Well I felt I had to write a review of this hotel and holiday overrall, it was great the hotel was clean, the food was great vast choice our little boy who is 3 loved the beach and the pool. If you like sun, sea, sand, relaxation, food and entertainment then this is the place to go. Me and my other half enjoyed a relaxing week at the San Miguel Beach Club in September 2006 and would thoroughly recommend this hotel to couples and young families. The atmosphere has a very Spanish feel and the people are very friendly. Just returned from a weeks holiday at the Club San miguel. It was great! I went with my partner and another couple. No kids this time. We all had a lovely relaxing time. The resort is so pretty, and the beach is stunning and so close to the hotel. We spent most of our time there. The food is great and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Entertainment was good too. We've got 2 children 6 years and 10months and we are definately returning soon with them, it's a really family friendly resort. Don't listen to the bad reviews. It's a FAB place.... more

I took my boyfriend and our 5yr old daughter. We were so looking forward to this holiday, but was bitterly disappointed!! We arrived late at night and it was like we had walked into a teenagers party. There were teens running around and generally running wild. I will try to keep this short and sweet. Dont be put off by some other reviews here that say it aint up to much. If you want a holiday to keep the kids entertained whether it be in the kids clubs or the vast amount of activites throughout the day, this is for you. Me, my husband and our 4 year old daughter booked this Hotel due to the reviews we had read on this site. On arrival everything ran so smoothly which we were really pleased about. Reception is on the top floor and our room was the floor below so it was a bit of a trek to the pools but we weren't complaining as we needed to get fit!!!!! Travelled to the hotel San Miguel in June and had a great holiday.I had read some previous reviews which were very mixed so we were not sure what to expect . The hotel is located in a very quiet resort, but the bay is really beautiful, the views from the rooms with seaview are amazing. The beach is very nice and really wide so it never felt crowded and we didnt find the loungers too expensive.
