1st class accomodation. massive beds and very comfortable. bathrooms very modern and stylish although this is a new resort it is now becoming very established. Staff very friendly and will assist in any matter. security at all times. 7 Pools everything you could wish for, plenty of sun beds, some in the pool. Absoutley gorgeous. Breakfast on the patio ideal. Very relaxing. If you like walking the Town not to far away with plenty of restaturants competiivley priced. Locally beaches beautiful. and the local cornish pasty bar... more

This is a brand new resort, will be 1 year in August. The apartments are huge, very modern, large and well equipped bathrooms with jucuzzi, large living/dinning room, very well equiped kitchenette with dish washer and also clothes washer machines! Outside, the gardens and small "lakes" are very well taken care off and look great. External swimming pool is amazing - I loved the sunbeds IN the pool! Indoor swimming pool also very good and open to outside. Has also a Gym and Sauna. My only downs: the grave paths look great... more

We went to Monte Santo in early June with a 9 month old and 3 year old. The apartments are stunning with everything you need. If you don't have something you phone to reception and they will provide it. The pools and kids playground are excellent great for familes with small children, in fact we only saw families on the resort. When we went it was really quiet and after a few days that novelty wore off. We found we had the indoor pool all to ourselves and the playground. Have just returned from a one week break in a two bed apartment at the superb Monte Santo Resort. Although the complex is a bit out of the way, (about a 20min downhill walk not suitable for a buggy) this is more than made up by the quality of the complex itself. Taxi ride to the resort centre is no more than €5 each way. Being a family with two young children, we did appreciate the space and high standard finish to the apartment. We have just spent an unforgetable and wonderful few days, at Monte Santo, celebrating a birthday. This newly finished, gated resort comprises luxury villas and apartments arranged on a landscaped hillside setting around the restaurant, pools and fitness centre. Our apartment was of the highest specification and quality and everything was explained on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble.. We recently spent a week at the newly opened Monte Santo resort situated near Carvoeiro in the Algarve. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment on ground level. The apartment was beautifully appointed and had stunning views over the carefully landscaped grounds of the resort. Despite it being November the sun shone every day and we had breakfast on the terrace every morning. We have just spent a week in the wonderful Monte Santo resort. We were extremely impressed with the one bedroom ground floor apartment we stayed in. It was very spacious, well equipped with good quality fittings and a very comfortable super king sized bed. We really loved the resort and found everything we needed there. My husband enjoyed swimming every day in either the indoor or outdoor pool and I was able to read and relax on one of the loungers. We also saw the gym although we didn't venture in! Just had a fantastic 10 night stay at the new Monte Santo resort in Carvoeiro. We were a bit apprehensive when we booked it as the resort only opened on 1 August and no photos were available but we were more than pleasantly surprised! The resort was amazing with a fantastic large swimming pool, lakes, streams and water features. Just got back with my partner from Carvoeiro after a 7 day stay, at the Monte Santo resort in a one bedroom apartment, mid September. The place is quite stunning, a beautiful outdoor pool area, streams and a small lake. I was told by the very friendly and helpfull staff that the landscaping is not yet even complete. The apartment itself was excellent. It was big, tasteful and had all the mod cons. We stayed in a two bed apartment in mid August. The resort is beautiful. Apartments were top class - beautifully decorated and cleaning service with towel change every day. Pool are was gorgeous with bar service and a mini market at hand. We had lunch twice in the restaurant which was very nice. The only down side to the restaurant was the menu was not very big - as the resort was not long open when we stayed they were still developing the menu for example they had no childrens section on the menu.
