Hotel Pedra dos Bicos

i stayed in this hotel for one week and when i arrived i thought it looked really nice. The rooms were very clean and modern and we had a fantastic view to the sea. But when we went to the pool it looked like being in the Addams family house: you see black candels all over, never seen something so strange before plus in the middle of the day!!Music is very loud during the day so impossible to relax you expect some good music in the evenings but then it gets even worst cause the local dj they have plays some shocking tunes and the discoteque... more

Financially this is a pretty cheap place to stay. Staffwise, not helpful at all and some are quite rude. Rooms are lovely. Beach is at the back of the hotel but you have a long walk down to it via steps. Ok going down, pretty hard coming back up. Nice restaurant on beach. Much nicer than the hotel and better value too. Cant check in 'til 4pm so book afternoon flights if possible as thsy wont let you in. I found the nightlife in hotel soooo boring. Last July stayed there with my family. Take care when booking as with the same brand “Pedra dos Bicos” and probably from units of the same group, you’ll find the Hotel and an Apartment-Hotel. The hotel is quite new and with a very nice looks both outside and inside. We got a room with a stunning view to the sea and the pinewood. The room is comfy but small for a couple with a child and the walls are so thin that it seems you’re sleeping at the corridor. We stayed here during off season and it was incredibly good value for money for the class of hotel. The rooms were very nice, modern and clean. The location was great and very close to the beach and to the main strip. There is also nice gym on the roof with a fantastic view overlooking the hills and the ocean. Best of all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. After reading the handful reviews I could find, I left for holiday unnecessarily apprehensive. This hotel is a gem, swish and sophisticated... and highly, highly underrated! PROS 1. Location. It is smack in the middle of pine forrests, on a cliff, with a 5 minute walk down to the beach and great ocean views. We booked to stay in the quinta pedra dos bicos studio appartment, we arrived saturday evening, went to reception to be told due to an electrical failure in the appartment block we were unable to stay there. Instead they said we could stay in the hotel and allowed us free breakfast every morning to compensate for there being no self catering facilities in the room. the hotels was very clean and contempory, beautiful views of the forests and beach especially if you go to the terrace where they have a free gym to access. staff were very friendly, breakfast was nice could do with having more variety. hotel situated in a calm quiet area but not far from the strip and restaurants. enjoyable stay

Near the famous Strip Street in Albufeira, but in a nice and calm place. The staff was very friendly. The room was very nice. The breakfast was very good. I don't have tried the pool, but it seemed a little bit small in summer. The hotel has a outside parking (not private) and garage.

I booked 4 nights at this hotel and when arriving late night there they told me that there wasn't available rooms at the complex and suggested me to go to Bela Vista apartments (another complex) wich I refused. I ended up at 10 pm at night searching for an available hotel with my wife and kids... Is this a Hotel or a Hostel?

stayed for 1 night before flying home wish we had booked for longer. booked at the last minute for a bargain price could not fault hotel rooms fab,hotel spotless,only fault was breakfast which needs to be upgraded to reach 4 star.would stay again anytime!
