Park Lane Aparthotel

Just returned from the park lane . Excellent hotel, Andrea and all the staff were brilliant. Everybody at the hotel were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was a problem, they booked resturants for us, taxi's etc at a moments notice and were interested to know how the resturants etc were for us. The transfers to and from the airport was a godsend as it was our first trip to Malta. i have been going to malta off and on for nearly 30yrs but the park lane is the best i have stayed in the staff are very friendly room cleaned daily would recommend this hotel to anyone one down side as we were self catering the smoke alarms are very sensitive but all in all excellent hotel will be booking again next year

I have been to Malta 4 times now with my husband and two children aged 17 and 11. We did have a terrible experience in the Palm Court Hotel and agree with the reviews saying that this hotel is in great need of closure on the island. We found a great hotel just around the corner called the Park Lane Aparthotel, which you have self catering accomodation, however the family own the restaurant below and you can upgrade to half board. Park Lane Aparthotel, Malta Date: 12 June 2008 Hilary Leicestershire Stayed at this hotel for a week to celebrate my 50th Birthday. We stayed in a corner suite apartment on the 4th floor with a lovely balcony overlooking views of the local town and the sea beyond. Room and bathroom were clean with linen change and made service daily. The only problem was a smell in bathroom coming from the drain in the sink. We went to this hotel in late May and even though we arrived quite late the hotel was more than happy to provide us with a meal. One of the nicest things about this hotel was the staff who were always very willing to help and always pleasant. Our room needed a bit of updating but saying that the bathroom was lovely. Lovely clean white crisp sheets, comfortable beds and pillows. We were half board but a strange thing was you had to pay for your tea and coffee which is odd especially at breakfast. We have just spent a week at Park Lane and it was first class.The room was beyond expectations, very well set out and equipped with all your kitchen needs, a spacious bathroom with gallons of hot water. The bedroom was very good with comfortable beds with clean white crisp linen. We asked for a balcony with a sea view and it was perfect. we keep coming back.... parklane has all our needs. Friendly people, great central location to bars, restaurants and of course the bus station.. Great breakfast, spacious & clean rooms, and it is reasonably priced. This will be our 5th time back after a few years. Our kids are now adults and they want to return to the parklane.. we made good friends, and we love the area. You will truly enjoy your stay here.

We spent a couple of weeks at the Park Lane. Like the other reviewers, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. However, the apartment is not what could be considered 4 stars by most Northern European or US standards. The decor was tired and soft furnishings were in need of a clean/ replacement. The 'sofabeds' were just foam in a cover and plonked on a wooden bench with a few cushions thrown on for good measure. The Park Lane Aparthotel is the best place to stay in Malta. It's friendly and efficient service, makes the holiday. I have stayed at the Park Lane 7 times now, and will be there again in two months. The people make you feel so welcome it's untrue. It now has a beautifully finished bar and restaraunt, where the food and service is excellent. My wife and I have stayed at the Park Lane four times now and have found it to be an excellent choice.It is a family owned and run hotel and we have found all the staff there to be very warm and friendly as are all the Maltese people.It is situated very close to the bus terminus and there are numerous bars and shops all around.It is within walking distance of the promenade,and the centre of Bugibba.Travelling time is 30-40 mins from Luqa airport.The Park Lane is not in any brochure,so you book direct with the hotel.
