Relais Blu Belvedere

We have just returned from a long weekend at the Relais Blu. We made the hotel our base to exploring Naples and the surrounding Amalfi coast. Because of its somewhat remote location I would recommend a rental car - from Naples International airport it is a 45 minute car ride. This secret hideway is a must for anyone travelling to Italy. It was out first experience of Italy and I can not fault anything. Myself and my husband were welcomed with a drink on the stunning terrace with views looking out onto capri, they were breath taking. The team at this hotel were warm, friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. We have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel and would definately go here again. This small, friendly hotel is everything you want from a honeymoon, where the staff are attentive to your wishes and the food and wine is excellent. The hotel is out of the way and is ideal for those who want to escape the fast lane for a little while, although Sorrento, Capri and other delights of the area are easily accessible with your own car or hire car. We stayed at Relais Blu for three nights in early September. I cannot imagine any place on the Amafi Coast that could possibly be more beautiful or more breathtaking. There is not a picture that we could take that properly represented the panoramic views of this hotel-the views are so magnificent that they are almost surreal. Incredible modern design that absolutely blows you away. It is like the photos, but even more so actually being there. The entire hotel is fantastically clean, and the staff were couldn't have been more welcoming and stylish. We went for a Suite - well worthwhile for such a beautiful room. Wonderfully romantic to watch the sunset every day over the Bay of Naples with a couple of drinks on the balcony! Our only advice concerns the cooking. This hotel is small, 9 rooms and is amazing. The modern, all white hotel with aqua colored patio umbrella set the stage for an unobstructed view ( glass railing) of Capri. Rooms are impecable and large, with private patios. The staff seemed to outnumber us and has a restaurant which is gourmet. The pool is in contrast to the mod hotel with an old stone wall looming to one side and plants growing from the cracks. Perfect spot and hardly a hint of chemicals. We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our two week honeymoon (spent in Rome and Sorrento). This was by far the most superior hotel we stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly and in fact could not do enough for you. The views were breathtaking and because it only has a small number of suites, it is very peaceful. It is a very modern boutique style hotel which is spotlessly clean - in fact they change your towels a couple of times a day. We are already looking at re-booking for next year.

We where fortunate to stay here recently for ten nights and we can't praise highly the hospitality and high level of service. The panoramic views of the bay of Naples and Capri are unprecedented. An ideal sanctuary for those who do not want the the hussle and bussle of the surrounding area and for sightseeing the Amalfi coast in a unique hotel with a fabulous terrace and well appointed rooms. We were lucky enough to be one of the first guests at this fantastic new hotel. All rooms have superb views and of a very high standard. This contemporary boutique hotel ticks a lot of boxes for style, comfort, staff, food of the highest quality and views from the terrace of the isle of Capri.
