Just returned from 10 nights at this hotel. The room was big but the air conditioning was inappropriate and at time did not work. Facilities ok. Nice golf course and gym. Good shuttle service to town centre. BUT unfortunately our memories are negative. Some members of staff, including a manger, were extremely unhelpful and very rude. In fact one or two were amongst the rudest hotel staff we have ever encountered (and we travel frequently). Booked a great deal with Travelzoo/Inghams to Parc Hotel. On arrival at airport, told we had been upgraded to the Golf Hotel (in the same grounds). Very impressed on arrival at the Golf Hotel On check in, apologetic receptionist said room would be ready in half an hour-we had been given a suite with a terrace!!! Just returned from a two week stay at the PARC HOTEL. (previously known as The Parc Hotel Paradiso and golf resort - don't get it confused with the Golf Hotel Paradiso also in the same complex! From entering the hotel it has a very modern feel - almost looks like a sports centre entrance, so if you are looking for more italian cosy this is not the place for you. Have just returned from staying a week a the Parc Paradiso and have to say, it is one of the best holidays I have ever had. The hotel itself is around 30 mins from Verona airport and is based around a beautiful golf course, The grounds are kept in lush condition and it is extremely clean. Location - Right in the back of beyond but the hotel shuttle is great if you dont have a car. Reception and staff - Helpfull and friendly. Facilities - Very good, with something for everyone and a pool to match your mood from quiet Oasis to noisy activities. Nice Spacious Room for Italy from monkeyface80
I travelled alone and was delighted with the room provided, spacious, clean and modern. Normally in Italy you take the chance of getting a small room (admittedly with old word charm but you have to live in it!). The hotel is about two miles from the lake but has an excellent shuttle bus service. This hotel is great as a base for discovering the area. It does have pretty [enough] gardens but it seemed stupid to waste time there when there is SO MUCH TO SEE. I stayed on half-board and the food was excellent and plentiful.... more

We booked this holiday 6 weeks before leaving at a bargain price. The hotel is fantastic. Bathrobes were provided, as were towels for by the pool. Sparkling wine and fruit were in our room for us on arrival. The room was very large and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The food in the restaurant was wonderful and the choice was amazing. In fact, the only problem with the food was probably the fact that there was too much to choose from and it was hard to decide what to eat first!! Having read some reviews elsewhere I was expected worse of this hotel, actually it was wonderful. The rooms were large and clean with balcony and free wine/water/fruit on arrival. The staff were friendly and spoke most languages. The food in the hotel was way above the standard of usual (buffet) hotel food and there is also a pizzeria on site which serves good, cheap pizza (although the other dishes there aren't great). The pools are clean and good sized - the hotel is part of a complex so if you wanted a busy pool with things for kids to do... more

We have just returned from a 7 night stay in this hotel - 2 Adults & 2 Children aged 8 & 5. Good points: Room was one of the largest we have stayed in with a queen bed and 2 singles for the children, towels changed daily and sheets once per week. Mini bar and air con and complimentary fruit bowl, robes, pool towels, shampoo basket. Courtesy bus runs down to Pescheira on the hour (apart from during siesta) and returns at 10 mins past the hour - the drivers are lovely and if you ask them they will detour to the train station... more
