Mon Repos Apartments

Me and my boyfriend have just got back from a week in Laganas and we had a great time, it was boilin- 40 degrees all holiday. We stayed at Mon repos in D block, as we flew out on a thursday we were with cosmos, A, B and C block are usually for people flying with first choice which are all closer to the pool. We had to walk up a dirt path to get to the bar and pool from our room, which was ok in the daytime but was very dark at night, so we usually walked along the road. me and partner went to mon repo for 7 days when we arrived we were met by a very helpfull young man who showed us to our rooms ,the rooms were very clean and basic but everything you need,the pool was fantastic and the owners were great ,we found lagana main street manily for the young but we had great nights in the pool bar drinking with the owners and many people who have been going back to mon repo for 11 years+ ,we had a couple off small problems with the room but as we told the owners the problems got sorted straight away, i would have... more

The accomodation is simple but very clean and looked after, the place however is the friendliest place ever. The owners Sakis and Anna are fun, friendly and a special couple. They have a sign above the bar that say's there are no strangers here only friends you have never met before and it's so true. We met some lovely people and can't wait to go next year (this will be our third time)

Go to Zante dont stay here. Stayed at the Mon Repos great weather great beach and the nightlife was fantastic. I went with 3 friends we booked together and request to be next to each other but 2 of us were in b block the others were about 50 meters away in c block the rooms were poor and had nothing in them they were cleaned once in the week and on the last day we were charged £120 for a new bed that we broke!!!!!!

I travelled to Zante with four friends in Aug 07. All of us in our mid to early twenties. I picked mon repos on the reviews I had read. Really disappointed. Paid £420 for 7 days self catering, completely overpriced. When we arrived, two of us were in A block and 3 in C block. The blocks were a 10 minute walk apart through a dark sandy dirt track. It was a great holiday, hot and sunny great bars and clubs..the only thing that completely ruined it was mon repos! the apartment was extremely basic with no windows and in the middle of dark woods, we had to walk down what we described as a dirt track to get to the strip! a very unsafe environment for a group of girls!! the bathroom in the apartment was very basic and not at all very clean! our front door had been broken into before we arrived and was not very secure at all! when we asked about having a new door anna and sakis... more

i didnt stay in the mon repos i was up the road in panoroma but the staff at mon repos were excelent sakis the owner and his son nikos were the only thing on the holiday which made me want to stay very good bar if i ever go back to laganas this will be the 100% place to be!!!

Ok - first things first, if your going this summer, get ready for the party of your lives!!. The MON REPOS is possibly the best base for a great holiday in Zante (LAGANAS), close enough but far enough away from the strip and beaches. Resonabe prices, cheep food and drinks. well wot i can i say really...title says it all. Absolutly loved the place, just situated 5 mins away from the lively nightlife, which made it very easy for us guys!!!! Staff are fab really make you welcome very friendly always smiling. Rooms were fine, very clean air con just a right size shower room This holiday was the best ive ever been on and the friendly staff made it all the better! MON REPOS LAGANA ZAKYNTHOS my husband,myself and two friends stayed at the mon repos in october 2005. What a fabulous holiday we were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. It is just far enough away from the centre yet not too far to stagger back at night ha ha.
