City Center Hotel

I've just returned from a 2 week stay at the City Centre Hotel and can fully recommend it.The Staff are very friendly and Helpful,especially Costas on the Night shift who's friendly face was very welcoming after a rubbish flight!! The location was excellent,5 mins from the nearest Beach and 15 mins from the Old Town. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

We have just returned from a 12 day stay at the City Center hotel where we were treated like part of the family ; George , Dimitri and Maria could not do enough for us , advising which sites to visit on Rhodes and which islands to take in . The hotel is in a wonderful location , an easy walk to Mandraki Harbour and The Old Town ; it also well situated for restaurants and the beach. We stayed 4 nights in City Center Hotel and it was nice. The staff was very kind and helpful, the breakfast buffet was rich, the rooms were clean and the location was great. The only negative thing was the furnitures, the refrigeretor made buzzing noise during our stay and it was untolerable, especially at night. But this can be ignored for the price we paid. This hotel can be recommended to people with limited budget.

Kept reading the reviews,,,,and thinking how could some people score 10 and others 5 as to their experience of staying at this hotel ? The answer..... having stayed there for 10days with my partner is simple....some folks go on holiday under duress!!! We've travelled quite a bit, I've been to Rhodes over 8 times and staying at the City Center was the best holiday I've had on this beautiful island. Reviewer: Guest from Serbia. I stayed with my family in the City Center Hotel in mid August 2007. Although it wasn't our first choice, fortunately we ended up in this hotel. Everything good that is said about it in these posts is true. As somebody already mentioned - don't expect luxury, but it is nevertheless a very nice, three star hotel. The staff are very friendly. This was my fifth visit to this most beautiful island of Greece. Location of a hotel is great - close to the Old Town, close to restaurants and shops, close to beach. Rooms are spacious, with large balconies, cleaned every day. Breakfast offers so many choices of different food, and if you had a late night, and obviously - late morning, you can still have breakfast till noon. We have just spent a week in Kos, but after driving around for a couple of days we thought we would go to Rhodes for 2 days with ferry. We did not have accomodation booked so we were wondering around when we found this hotel It is located behind the Casino 10 minutes walk from the old town. My husband and I arrived in Rhodes to find that the hotel we were hoping to stay at was completely booked. We stopped at Restaurant Victoria, located under the City Center Hotel, to have lunch. I stayed with my girlfriend for 4 nights in May at the City Center Hotel. The hotel is ideally located just behind the main beach. The rooms were spotless and very confortable. Fortunately our room had a nice balcony with a bit of a view.. Perhaps the best part of our stay were our warm and friendly hosts that went out of their way to make us feel welcome and give us a good laugh!. Let's be honest - if you stay here, you're not paying for a luxury hotel, so you're not going to get one. It's a decent hotel for a relatively small price. It's a great location, very good american breakfast and smiley people - especially Anna . You surely won't go there to spend all day at the hotel - the beds are comfortable enough for a good night's sleep, and the rooms are very very clean --- and that's what's important.
