Elysium Resort & Spa

I stayed with my boyfriend to Elysium hotel and we had 5 unforgettable nights! We choose that hotel because it was new and had great reviews in Trip Advisor but it was 100 times better than we thought! This new resort hotel and spa was an absolute delight! It is a gorgeous, classy and immaculate facility, with an EXTREMELY helpful staff -- from the reception personnel, concierge, dining room staff...and everyone in between. We were seeking a tranquil vacation, and found it here. I went for a short break at the Serenity Spa: The Spa is brand new. I had the Heating Experiences and a Massage. The girls are really amazing and very helpful. I have heard before about the ESPA products but ner tried them before: Excellent! Then we had a drink at the Senses Bar. The view over Kallithea bay is fantastic especially around 18:00 - 20:00. Great relaxing holiday.Everything is stylish .Good service and interesting food.Romantic and quite atmosphere.Bad - nowhere to go for walk in the evening near the hotel.Good -20 minutes ride by bus to Rhodos town ( every 20 min until 1:00).In the afternoon you can by 15 min walk throuh beautifull landskape to get to Kalitia Springs.

If you look for a real 5-star resort in Rhodes, then Elysium should be your first choice. It's a brand new resort (opened in April 2009) so everything is new and fresh. The architecture is stunning, the interior design is stylish and full of details, the food is absolutely great and the service couldn't be better. Staff were very friendly and trained to high standards. Food was the best i've had at any hotel. Seaview with jacuzzi gorgeous especially joined with a glass of Champagne . We were greated on arrival with champagne and this is also served inclusive at breakfast! Nothing bad to report i'm afraid!

The hotel itself is brand new and gorgeous - the architecture is stunning, the grounds well groomed, the views incredible, the beach beautiful, and the spa and gym second to none in the area. The rooms are very clean and modern, though the bathroom has a European half-only glass door, and hence leaks a lot if you take a normal shower like an American. the Elysium hotel is a real 5 stars hotel (unlike other hotels in the island that claims to be 5* hotels). the service in the hotel by the staff was great, all rooms has sea view. rooms are very big and well desgined - it is important to say that the hotel is new so everything in it is new as well. the food was great! the hotel is located btw the city of rhodes to Faliraki and has a bus station just outside the hotel - the ride to city takes a short time and cost 1 euro to faliraki and 2 euro to Rhodes city (comparing to 15 euro by taxi).... more

Booked independently, as I had stayed in the sister hotel Rodods Palladium last year, and had been disappointed. Unfortunately hotel did not open on schedhule in May 2008, however I had been concerned that this could be the case and kept in contact with the Hotel Management , who put us up in the Rodos Palladium in a superior room with seaview and gave us 2 free days car hire. We booked this hotel in March 2008 and took the risk as it was not completed!! We wont do that again. Olympic holidays only contacted us after we emailed them and one week before our holiday we were informed the hotel is not opening yet. Firstly we were given 2 options of hotels to transfer to, Hilton(Ixia) and Lindian Village (Lardos). Checked them both on trip advisor and there was no comparison.
