Alfa Hotel

This is our third visit to Parga and our 2nd to the Alfa Hotel. We love the Alda because............ Location - only 10 minutes walk to the harbour Cleanliness - always very clean Pool Area - Lovely relaxed pool area with loads of sun beds. it has a great pool bar which sells drinks and nice food. There are many hotels in Parga that either do not have a pool OR the pool area has no bar or atmosphere. The Alfa has both in bucket loads. This was our 7th stay at this wonderful Family run Hotel, in 4 years. We step inside the doors and feel immediately relaxed and at ease, a warm welcome from the Family always awaits us. The Hotel is ideally situated in a peaceful location, within easy walking distance of Parga Town and the beaches. Every area of the Hotel is spotlessly clean. Just returned from Parga and stayed at the Hotel Alfa for one week. Very peaceful location only a few minutes walk from the sea front. Very well run B & B with a beautiful restaurant that looks as though it belongs to a 5 star hotel. Lovely pool area - spotlessly clean. Rooms are fairly basic but adequate with a little balcony. Unusual in greece to have a bath with shower. Towels changed every day. Would return to this lovely little hotel and definately to Parga - which we loved. Lots of nice walks, lovely restaurants and very unspoilt.

My young daughter & myself (not so young!) have recently enjoyed an excellent weeks holiday at the Hotel Alfa in Parga in August. The hotel was great, well situated as only a short walk into Parga itself. Its small-ish which I prefer as I don't like large hotels where you can get 'lost in the crowd'. Our room was very clean and I was happy for mini-me to walk around in her bare feet ! The owners and staff were also friendly and always there if you needed help or advice. Just back from two fantastic weeks in Parga staying at the Alfa Hotel which was great. The hotel is ideally located on a quiet road about 10 minutes walk from the centre. The Alfa is spotlessly kept, with the rooms cleaned and linen/towels changed daily. The rooms are fine size wise and have free air conditioning. Each room has a balcony, plus a bath as well as a shower. The pool is great, set behind the hotel you get no street noise and you are not overlooked by anyone. Have just returned from a lovely two week stay at the Hotel Alfa in Parga. We arrived during the hottest weather Greece has had for several years (+40 C) but having free use of air conditioning in our room made it more bearable. The hotel is well run and spotlessly clean, with towels changed every day and bedding changed every 2 days. Each morning the swimming pool area is thoroughly washed, including all the sunbeds, tables and chairs. Parga is a great resort. Next time we'll stay at a studio apartment though as the Alfa was a little disappointing compared to what we expected. It's listed on the Firstchoice website at two star plus. That's accurate. The rooms are smaller than you expect which was disappointing and we really got fed up with the small sheets and blankets. The very worst aspect was that there is no extra lock on your room door to ensure your privacy!!! Plus there's no "do not disturb" signs. We stayed for one week at the Alfa Hotel. The accomodation and pool area is extremely clean. Breakfast is taken on the terrace in the pleasant garden. I enjoyed watching the kittens playing while eating but I think some people could be put off by cats wandering around the tables. It is an easy stroll from the Hotel down into the town. You can see why people visit this hotel again and again. My husband and I and our 18 month old son spent a week at the Alfa in May. The holiday got off to a bad start as our luggage didnt make the flight so we were without it for 4 days. However, on arrival at this hotel, suddenly lost luggage was not a problem. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the pool area excellent and very safe for small children. THE ALFA HOTEL and PARGA Parga is definitely one of the prettiest and most scenic places we've been. We will go back but, next time, to an apartment with a harbour view. You must avoid mid August as around the 15th the population goes from about 2,000 to 20,000 because of the festival on the island in the bay. All Italian and Greek tourists and apparently, you simply can't move. Best time of all, according to the locals, is beginning of September, it's quiet and the sea is very warm.
