San Lorenzo Village

I stayed at the SLV with my husband 3 yr old and 10 mth old. We stayed in a one bed apartment. Although space is at a premium we found that we had enough wardrobe space and did not feel cramped. With soaring temparatures the abscence of air con was a problem at least to begin with. However, the kids seemed to quickly adjust. Just returned from our second visit to the San Lorenzo Village, thoroughly enjoyed first visit in 2006, and was not disappointed this year. The studios are spotlessly clean, with maid service and clean towels everyday. On our last visit we had a studio with a view of the pool, but his year we were in 312A, which is in the block mentioned by Chipper 2. First i need to say that it is not true that all rooms have a view, we were is 311A right in the corner and we had no view of the pool or the sea, just a bush. We were disappointed with the location of the room in comparision to the others, also the walls are very thin so we were kept awake every night by the crying baby in the next apartment. Just come back from honeymoon to the San Lorenzo village. I would recommend these apartments. Really clean, all have sea view, nice staff, clean towels every day and room always spotless. Clean pool and quiet location, but only a 5 min walk to the beach and the supermarket and food places. I would highly recommend hiring a car while there. CBR are the cheapest. You can go arounbd the whole island and see some fantiastc views etc. Go to myrtos beach (most famous pictured beach in greece) it is lovely, but take shoes to go... more

Just got back today from the San Lorenzo Village and we are already looking to book for next year! Absolutely fisrt class apartments and immaculately clean. Well recommended ! Only complaint is that Greece is getting too expensive (5 euros for butter.... 8 euros for a gin and tonic) !

We stayed at San Lorenzo Village Apartments the first two weeks in September. Apart from rain on a couple of days, it was hot (but not ridiculously hot) in the day and you needed a jacket at night. The first thing that strikes you as you arrive at the complex is how clean and well looked after it is. The apartment was one of the best we have stayed at and there is nothing you can fault (unless you like to have air conditioning). This was our second trip to the San Lorenzo and it was just as good as last year. The apartments are mantained like a hotel - daily cleaning and towells, and the staff will do anything for you. A nice gesture was free shopping service - rolled out of bed and whatever you ordered was delivered to your apartment - saving us the walk up a short, but quite steep hill! Just got back from the San Lorenzo village hotel in Kefalonia and had a lovely holiday.I was recommended this place by a work mate who had been a few years previously and told me how clean the place was.And she was right!On arrival there was fresh fruit,tea and coffee making facilities, a small bottle of washing up liquid and even a pan scrubber and teatowel, something we have never had before,there was shampoo and conditioner,shower caps and flannels and fluffy white towels which we sparkling clean, so were the lovely white sheets.Our... more

we have stayed here 3 times and are going back this month. we absolutley love it . it is relaxing and peaceful but not too far away from the beach and nightlife. the staff are always helpful and friendly. the appartments may be small but they are spotless - they are cleaned every day. the towels are also changed everyday and beach towels are available to use with just a 10 euro deposit. there is a hill to walk up to get to the appartments, yes you can get out of puff with it and it is not suited if you have trouble walking - but i am not fit... more

We have just returned from a holiday at San Lorenzo Village, Lassi, Cephalonia. The Apartments are very small but clean (no air con but it is quite a cool room) and all have a wonderful view over the pool and out to sea. The swimming pool is not too deep and cleaned every morning, there is a pool bar serving snacks from 8 until Midnight. The staff is the bar and reception are brilliant expecially Dorothy!
