First Rate destination, good value for money, Staff attentive, courteus and helpful, drinks in all the bars were good, on the pool supply when out at the pool or on the beach the drinks are a little weaker, but in truth that is no bad thing as its so hot and you drink so much if they were full strength you would need carried off the beach. If you want stronger just tell them and they will double the shots up no problem.

Italian and Asian Restauruants are superb The ocean grill restaurants however, the portions were on the small side and although food was decent quality there they did let the resort down slightly (it is a minor niggle) Rooms were clean room service was reasonable (although a little slow and a limited menu tbh).

Resort was clean, security was excellent, shops are limited in nature and content and like all hotel shops pricier than the vendors in the local towns (playa del carmen etc) but hey its a hotel right :)

All things considered, no regrets at all regarding the choice and will be going there again (something I rarely say about any holiday in 30 years) :)

For those of you looking for a location to tie the knot, it seemed pretty much perfect as there were several weddings while I was there (14 days) and the wedding parties seemed extremely happy with the results.

Cheers

My Husband and I went to the Perissa last year with my Mother aged in her 70's

The hotel, grounds, service and entertainment were first class

The Staff were fantastic in particular the waiters and entertainment Staff as My Mum was treated like a Queen

It was a pleasure to go for meals. The Waiters treated Mum like they would their own Mum. So friendly and attentive

It was a holiday we will never forget. Mum wanted to adopt most of the waiters

well here goes.it was our honeymoon vacation. what we paid for and what we got were not the same.our in room jacuzzi was so small a miget coulnt have used it.our ocean view room was obstructed by palm trees.drinks were watered down.state of the art work out center had old equipment.very expensive massages, very poor soveneir shop, one crowded pool, beach wasnt very nice, excurtions were very pricey, disco area geared toward the young couples, not enough pool chairs for everyone,no casino which we knew before we went,to few nice resteraunts for the amount of people there,to few bars, and a very small resort not offering enough for what they charge and say there gonna provide for you once you get there.i have been to secrets in punta cacn and the palladium in riveria mexico and both had much more to offer and were a lot cheaper.ive wrote to apple a couple of times and have not got a responce yet. people be careful with apple vacations they look good in thosebooks but you dont always get what you think your paying for.es in ohio.

Wow what a beautiful resort located about 40 min drive from Cancun airport. If you are after a luxurious, quiet, all inclusive hotel then this is the place or you.

We spent 10 days here in Dec and it is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. There are several restaurants, a huge pool and the service is second to none. Entertainment in the evening is a little limited and if you want lots of evening entertainment then stick to Cancun.

Mainly Americans who stay and we combined the trip with Fort Lauderdale, USA as Mexico is 1 1/2 hrs flight from Miami.

Fantastic 5* all inclusive resort. All top drinks & meals in all 5 restaurants included. 24hour room service included. This was the most relaxing holiday of our lives. Food, Service, weather, facilities everything was fantastic. It is also an adults only resort so peace and tranquillity assured.

Beautiful private beach with outdoor therapy, massage tables. Hammocks for 2 set up on the beach. Snorkelling, kayaking and catamarans are inclusive.

Huge swimming pool with a pool bar in the middle to get of the midday sun.

Restaurants include Japanese, Chinese, Italian, seafood, grill, Mexican. We could not fault any of them.

If you have the time & money go!!!!!
