Hanioti Village

Just came back this afternoon to here with my girlfriend for a week. An amazing place to go, wasn't expecting much as our holiday was one of these late breaker ones..but this place was excellent. Staff are brilliant, the foods brilliant (I see the chefs name was Rula). The food selection was varied and was always nice as some of the food they have they grow themselves. Just returned from a week at the Hanioti Village hotel and it was brilliant . the staff are all happy and cheerful, they can't do enough for you . Everthing was clean and well maintained. Every evening they made an effort to entertain you , we did the bingo(reluctantly) and WON!!, then we did the quiz night .. and won!!. The food was always well presented and tasty (three course) each evening ,always fresh produce . We took all the family so there is something for every one. Just returned from Hanioti Village last night. We went for a week and must say the hotel was set in lovely surroundings, the pool was clean and the staff very friendly. I shall save my criticisms for the the two aussie guys (owners?), who came across as moody and unwelcoming. Arrived quite late at night without even a "hi, how are you? how was your trip etc?" We have recently got back from staying here. We had a fantastic holiday it was such a beautiful place and so relaxing. We definately plan to go again! It has to be said that we recieved exceptional service from our Airtours rep Jennie, she really was helpful. I believe she is the all summer so look out for her! Great holiday.

The transfer from the airport to the hotel was about two hours, but the long journey is well worth it. The moment you arrive you know are in a very relaxing environment. We were checked in by Perry and then helped with your luggage by the ever-hard working Eugene. By the time we had put our cases down it was barbecue time, we had so much choice! what we did have was delicious and was washed down with a few large cold Mythos (lager). My brother and I have just arrived back from Hanioti Village completely chilled. As soon as you enter the gates of the hotel all your troubles just melt away, I have never seen my brother so relaxed! Big shout to Billy, Paris, Perry and of course Rula the kitchen queen. The rooms were clean and tidy and for an extra 8 euros a night we had air-conditioning, tv and fridge (a good investment). Lovely hotel, no TV (in room), you can escape the rat race! Friendly helpful staff, work very hard. Rooms were very pleasant - simple but clean. Spacious balcony. Water always hot whenever you need it. Some noise (music) at night but didnt bother us too much and it doesnt go on very late. Food bit average - but ok. A little bit 'chips with everything' which was disappointing. You can get a good lunch around the pool though. me and my friend, whom are both 18, so us two girls decided to take a quiet week away in greece to get away from the busy lights of brighton for a while. this was a last minute deal and we really werent expecting anything too amazing when we travelling on the coach on our way to the hotel.but when we arrived...wow.it was absolutely beautiful, we turned up at the hotel at about 10pm, so we couldnt really see much at that time, but what we could see was heaven.the palm trees, the gorgeous fairy lights distinctly placed highlighting the... more

Lovely hotel in beautiful suroundings. Everyone very helpful and friendly. Food tasty and well cooked. Rooms clean and well maintained. Just the place for a quiet relaxing holiday. Only 5 mins walk to the beach and with easy access to centre of Hanoiti. Staff always had a friendly word for everyone. Lots of personal touches - management always there to say goodbye and wave coaches off. Nothing too much trouble. We spent two weeks at Hanioti Village and would certainly go back there. My other half and I love this hotel and have already booked to go back in August for the 8th time. (We do go other places too). We know that we will run into other people we have met on previous years who, like us, keep returning. The hotel only has 42 rooms and is owned and run by two greek/australians and was built by their father.
