We have just got back from our annual 2 weeks leave which this year after 6 years we booked a return to Greece. It was our first visit to Mainland Greece and it wont be the last. We booked a stay at the Hilltop and it was certainly worth the money. Just want to let everybody know, this hotel is a hidden gem. Excellent value for money, so was not expecting such a good standard, i am very picky when it comes to hotels and i certainly wasnt dissapointed. Set on a beautiful hilltop with seaviews, just a short walk into hanioti, plenty to do, certainly not rowdy! my sister and i felt very safe. i have just stoped at the hilltop top hotel for the last 2 weeks and have had the best time ever. 1st off, the staff there are incredible, pat on reception, bill here and there, gianni serving the food, effe at the bar followed by george! the fact that i can remember the names of the members of staff should speak volumes for how friendly and approachable they all are! the food is fab, breakfast is a simple greek breakfast with not just egg as the last review seems to think! and dinner time again is top notch as it was nice to eat... more

Stayed at the hilltop hotel hanioti for a week end of August. Hotel is average definately a 2star, but clean. Our room was small and the shower was really small, but it was okay as you dont spend alot of time in it, the balcony had a nice view of the sea in the distance, it had airconditioning and a telly which had sky news and a hairdryer, it was cleaned everyday so not bad. Staff are helpful apart from the older man who wasnt particularly accomodating and quite sarcastic at times so kept out of his way, but the younger men were all hard... more

The Hilltop Hotel is very clean,has very helpful staff and a good pool area. The pool bar also serves good lunches and they are at a reasonable price. The only negative I can say about the location is that once you have walked down the hill to go to the village you have to cross a very busy road and sometimes it can seem that you are taking your life in your hands. This problem could be solved by the installation of some sort of traffic light control.

The Hilltop is a great Hotel; very clean, the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Staff advise you of places to visit during your stay, they genuinely want you to have a nice holiday. For entertainment, 'The Greek night' is a must! The pool area is lovely, snacks are served during the day which are reasonably priced and tasty. This hotel is worthy of it's gold medal and other fantastic reviews. It's an extremely clean hotel in a good location with good facilites and very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and basic and most have a fab view. Air con is a must in high season as it's quite humid. The atmsophere was lovely espeically round the pool area, the food was of good quality and reasonable too. Can't wait to return!!! Brilliant!

Two weeks of pleasent holiday. Hotel smashing, but had to wait till 9 am for cup of coffee. no facilities in room.Plenty of wasps and rain.Not much choice for breakfast eggs, eggs, and more eggs. dinners good,[6 euros for4 courses,not bad eh!] Resort faired petty bad in my opinion not much to do and boring in between thunder storms.Do not think we will go again , we will stick to Cyprus thank you.
