Danelis Apartments

We stayed at Danelis in May of 2008. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel and it's lovely family at all. We went early in the season to avoid the heat and the main tourist season. Nikos was waiting for us when we arrived at 4am. The rooms are clean and simple, if you want gold plated everything go to New York! Stayed at the Danelis Apts for a week in Sept 07 with three other friends. My first impression of the room and hotel was that it was very clean. The room had a mountain and sea view! The hotel is in a great position: within walking distance from the main strip, but far away enough not to be disturbed and surrounded by farmers fields.The pool was beautiful and the hotel at night looked amazing. We stayed at the Danelis apartment for 2 weeks in July 07. when we first arrived we thought we had found a really nice place to stay, the hotel looked nice & it was clean. during our stay we just couldn't bear to be in the hotel, food orders took abot 2 hours & the joke of a bar man Toby sometimes didn't even pass your order on so you would be waiting for nothing. i lost the saftey deposit box key because my bag got stolen on a night out, the only reason we took it out was because loads of stuff had been stolen from the hotel, it took 3... more

I stayed at the Danelis apartments for 2 weeks in sep 06 with a group of close friends and had the best time ever! Every one of us enjoyed the stay and the family were so welcoming and made you feel like one of the family! we didnt want to do the typical 18-30s thing and this hotel was perfect for us, as it was close enough to walk to the main strip and beach but far away enough to have a bit of peace and quiet to relax the apartments were clean, and spacious and the maid cleaned the rooms regularly. if you needed anything... more

Went to Malia with a couple of friends in Sep 2006. We are all young professionals so we paid a premium for to get a nice place as the typical '18-30' holiday wasnt our scene i.e. we wanted some peace and quiet thru the day, although we did go for the nightlife obviously. Anyway the complex was nice enough, apartments are about what you would expect in any of these resorts.
