Domes of Elounda all Suites and Villas SPA Resort

Being Greek and having been to many Greek islands, I never thought I could be so pleasantly surprised by a Greek Resort . This was my first time in Elounda Crete and I spent 4 days with my girlfriend in a private suite. We both agreed that this was one of the best vacation ever (I know, I know, she would have said that either way but it was really good). We stayed in the Junior Suite in the beginning of this May. Huge living room and the balcony with Jacuzzi. Welcome fruits basket, a bottle of wine and roses in the evening. Big flat screen TVs with internet access in each room. Extremely attentive staff. I can see they are trying very hard to please guests since this is a new Hotel. I call this Simply the best because it was without doubt the most relaxing place we have stayed. This is a very special place and we selected this for our honeymoon. Our travel agaent let us down by not telling us the main hotel complex was closed so we were the only two people staying there, albeit on honeymoon. We were greeted at the airport after along journey by a smart man in a mercedes who whisked us off to the resort, about one hour away. During July 2008 our little family spent the most fantastic and relaxing holiday with friends at this lovely, secluded resort. Located with the most spectacular view over the Elounda Golf and the scenic, historical Spinalonga island, the stay was a fairytale experience. Fantastic place, designer boutique rooms but most importantly breathtaking balcony views, ensure you book a room with a private pool as this will be the best place to be first thing in the morning and evening... I have spent a week, there with my daughter and was delighted to enjoy the hospitality and support of the staff that helped us e enjoy the max out of this week. everything about this place was amazing! the food, the facilities, the rooms and the staff! Everything was clean and the view was just gorgeous. Stay here!

This hotel was so romantic, elegant, and accommadting I would go back again and again. The service was great, the room was spacious and modern. Room service was their to attend to our every whim. My only complaint was there was a understaffing in the spa that made it hard to get an appointment if you could even get the booking person, who was the same person as the massage therapist and the manicurist, lol. The hotel consists of several small buildings harmoniously blended on a hill with the surrounding beautiful nature, facing a breathtaking sea and the island of Spinalonga. The hotel is at walking distance from the fascinating village and white rocks beach of Plaka, a few minutes by car from the lively Elounda. The rooms are great. they are spacious and of a high standard with plasma sreens and jacuzzi baths. the hotel has great potential but needs refining. we had a suite with a pool and a great seating area/veranda which was partly shaded. most of the private pools however are overlooked and service needs more attention and efficiency.

I must have been one of the very first guests to have experienced this property since it opened recently. The spanking new hotel which is located in the tranquille Elounda (10 mins from touristic area) offers everything one could expect of a med holiday plus HUGE rooms. In a nutshell this is a boutique resort, as it offers designer rooms , whilst ensuring all the other pluses of most resorts.
