Hotel Brice

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at hotel Brice Tulip Inn , courteous ,cleanless, high quality sevice, very nice situation in city centre, We would be pleased to recommmend this hotel it to others

We stayed at the Brice 4 nights at the end of September. The staff were very good, our room (12) was one of the superior ones. It was very big, with a terrace large enough for a table + 4 chairs overlooking the garden and the road. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were not! The decor was a little faded, with dirty walls around the aircon. The hotel was very noisy with other guests banging doors all night long, and the soundproofing between the rooms almost non existent. I just came back from that hotel, I can tell you, it was horrible!!!... ALL the good reviews that this hotel has, there must be from the employees there, because the hotel has a bad smell, the manager was very rude, they misrepresent the ammeties of the hotel, they are expensive for that kind of service and room, don't waste your money. We were afraid of getting a skin infection, or something else, that's how bad it was...

The A/C is great. Our room was very large, featuring a big bed and fluffy pillows. The hotel's lounge is the best part! It's Moroccan themed, everything is red, floor to ceiling. 1970's, like Threes Company go to Casablanca. The bartender gives you free potato chips if you know someone important. The best deal going in Nice is the hotel's continental breakfast. The food is really good, but even better is the joy of watching the locals smear Nutella onto their bread while enjoying their morning cigarettes. I recommend you check it out.

I stayed on a busy August 2004 weekend and had booked a superior 3-bedded room for single use. When I arrived I was allocated only a tiny double bedded standard room and the hotel manager said the hotel was full and nothing could be done. He was very unpleasant and suggested that this room was all I deserved for the rate I had paid. I'm sure he'd been able to sell the original room I booked for a better rate. The concierge was nice & I only stayed there for 1 night, but I would never stay there again. I had to switch on the air-conditioning myself (this is the mid-Aug) & wait for the room to cool down. The carpet was so old, I was afraid to walk barefoot, my room only had a shower stall -no bathtub & the bed was a bit too soft. It's also in a residential area so it's not that convenient if you're only staying for a few days. For slightly more money, you can stay a much nicer hotel like Hotel Beau Rivage near the Old Town & the sea.

Excellent value for money, very friendly and helpful staff, great location. Rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Highly recommended 3 star hotel.

Stayed at the Brice 3 nights in mid-June. Nice hotel with lovely garden and very helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable, the mattress was very firm. I especially loved the garden for breakfast and an evening cocktail. Would definitely stay at the Brice again!

Have just spent 5 days in Nice and stayed at the Brice hotel. The hotel itself was lovely with very friendly and accomodating staff. I was travelling with a friend and we had a very large triple room (even though we had only booked a twin), which also had a huge bathroom and there was lots of storage space as well. There was a good choice of foods for breakfast, and this was served in the really nice garden. The hotel also has a nice (small) bar which is ideal for a glass of champagne prior to hitting the town!
