Hi Hotel Eco Spa & Beach

We have just returned from a superb weekend break in Nice where we stayed at the very trendy HI hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the unique concept and decor of the hotel was a real bonus to our stay. With its individually designed rooms, (ours had a shower in the middle!), the mouth-watering organic food and the attention to detail in every area, Hi offers a real sensory discovery into the art of modern living- and more than just a hotel. We will definitely be passing on the word!

My husband and I stayed for one night at the Hi Hotel in August 2005. We were disappointed from the beginning when they pointed out the trolley for us to bring our own bags up to our room. We stayed in a room on the 7th floor which was v. noisy at night-time due to people going up to the (plunge) pool on the 8th floor. The towels were thin & amenities were basic. Having read great reviews about this hotel we decided to check in for 4 nights (4 nights for the price of 3 seemed like a good deal!). When I called I was told that the parking was secure, there were marked bays in a public car park and it was only 20m from the hotel. None of this was correct - it was a standard car park, 100m from the hotel and at a whopping cost of €24/day. Very cool little hotel. Great location in a quaint area of the city. Great art books everywhere!. Ideal for couples!.

As I live in Nice, I go to the HI HOTEL not for a night or two but to because I enjoy the patio bar in the afternoon, the great DJ sets on Fridays, the visit of the rooms designed by MATALI CRASSET and the penthouse. What makes the HI HOTEL unique is its connection with the city and the world. A global experience. Have fun! gx

We had a fabulous stay. My husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was so refreshing to find ourselves in such a modern, stylish hotel; a far cry from everywhere else we have visited on the Riviera. Matali crasset did a fabulous contemporary design and our bedroom, so cool, clean and modern. Fantastic service, funky beats, inspiring style. What more can I say? Smiles all round! I can't wait to come back soon.

Me & Hubby stayed here last month and we thought it was great.......we are aged 41 and 34 and found it to be very trendy and although we are not as hip as the hotel is, we were made to feel very welcome! Great location, 3 mins walk from the sea and 5-15 mins walk to the main eating & shopping areas. It was very clean and our room (indoor terasse) has everything we needed, watch out for banging your head on the overhead lights when you get out of bed though! The hotel is situated quite a way from the main city centre areas (about 20 min walk) but only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The hotel has themed rooms at various different prices. All nice in thier own way with lights and electic shutters for the windows controlled from the bed - took us a while to work out the shutters! Very comfortable hotel but the bar and restaurant are a bit strange and a lot smaller than they look in the pictures. On the roof is a small "pool" more like a tub and sun loungers. Just came back from Nice, spended one night in the Hi Hotel. Great pleace if you wanna have pop art design, great pool for the Summer and good viev over the City. The service is not what u could expect for the price, wich is high! It was fun to see it once, would not go there again. The room was not clean, the glases for drinks as well. The people working there are individual dressed and stuff, but not teached in Service. Shame for the nicely done rooms and the Concept.
