Stayed twice, once in 2003 and then again 2004. It is a fab hotel. Rooms exceptionally clean and large (though limited wardrobe/drawer space for clothes. Restaurant was fantastic and food was great. Lovely little bar. Reception area very nice with lovely log fire. ... more

This is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. I love the lounge area with a log fire, great for the winter. The hotel is farther than most from the shops, but a 10 minute walk never hurt anyone. One thing that is a must is the adjoining restaurant, The Keg, the food is... more
