Livadhiotis City Hotel

I stayed here for a week in August 08 with my daughter. The hotel was very clean and the rooms nicely presented. The staff were helpful and friendly even juggling rooms for us as I had booked a double instead of a twin room. The breakfast was a bit boring after a week but it was fresh and plentiful and we had no complaints. Overall by Larnaca standards this hotel is a good one, the location is very central and right by the Finikoudes beach. I would reccommend staying here, don't expect luxury but that is hard to find in Larnaca!

It was our first time at Larnaca, usually we land very early in the morning and from the airport we pick up our rental and drive all the way to Pafos. This time we decided to stay at Larnaca, and it was a great experience. When we arrived around 4am, Pepe was the night desk assistant, and he was wonderful, great attitude at that early or that late on the shift..... We were 2 families traveling with teenagers, 7 people total. We stayed 3 night in early June. The location is great. A quick walk to the beach front and right next to St. Lazarus Church. The breakfast was OK ... even our teenagers found something they liked. Our rooms were clean and very pleasant, especially for the location and price. Arrived at the Hotel on Sat, Jun 07, 2008 . I had an already payed reservation for two rooms. The person at the hotel desk at first wasn't able to find my prepayed booking... then, after she found my booking, said they had received the booking only for one room... At the end they gave me one renewed room (very very noisy at night) and another one really stifling and where everything wasn't working.

Breakfast was poor, no fruits, no milk....no big variety. Rooms very big and clean with good decoration. Very friendly staff but very noisy because of the place is being. Center of the town, next to the shops. This is good! Parking nearby.

Agree with other reviewers entrance looks rough around the edges and reception looks dated but staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was superb modern, clean and good quality all round. Only negative was the street noise but this is just about normal for any hotel in a city theses days where ever I travel. Location is just so convenient step out of the hotel and you are surrounded by shops and restaurants in easy reach and the sea front is just minutes away. We were arriving at Larnaca on a late flight so were looking for somewhere to stop over. We read the reviews for the Livadhiotis and it sounded ideal. It was. The only downside to the hotel was finding a nearby parking space but even that wasn't too difficult. As another reviewer has mentioned, the reception area is a bit old-fashioned and cosy but this doesn't reflect the quality of the rooms at all, which were very modern. When you walk into the reception area of this hotel your heart might well sink as it looks like something from a cheap and cheerful Mediterranean hotel of the 1960s. However, this rather odd reception area must not cause you to run out of the door. You need to view the rooms to discover what an outstanding bargain this hotel supposes. In Cyprus, where accommodation is concerned, there is no relationship between price and quality; in my experience, hotels on the island are very expensive and offer dirty, run-down rooms and facilities... more

Livadiotis hotel Larnaca ,we are regular visitors to Cyprus we have stayed in many hotels ,the Livadiotis hotel we would recommend for it`s location ,not as big as the normal hotels we have stayed in but it was ample for us . we would highley recommend this hotel ,recentley refurbished to a high standard.

Recently refurbished (is my guess) this hotel is great. The lobby is small and intimate, the staff brilliant. The rooms are large, with superb solid wood doors needing three hefty hinges to hold them. In-room safe, aircon, views, etc. Internet in the lobby. And, within 100m, there is a bank, a travel agent, cafe, the famous Lazarus church; and within 200m add the beach, a barber, a mini mart, medieval castle, and more cafes.
