Palace Hotel

this hotel was not nice.the pool was dirty the staff very rude apart from the cocktail bar staff.The room nice but bathroom filthy,food rubbish no choice if you managed get a plate then you were waitin for cutlry,food was empty all time,one poor girl tryin to keep up.The pool area was never cleaned until most people after ten days compained then the staff unwillingly cleaned it,i have been sunnybeach 3 times and love it but this hotel stay away,and im not fusy but it really is awfull, and maria behind the bar doesent know how to smile next... more

Exellent place to stay, staff very helpful and polite. The location is fantastic for night life and the beach is a 30 second walk away. The food was good and the waiters could not do enough for you. The rooms were very clean and modern, cleaner came round to clean every day and the towels got changed every two days so did the bed sheets. Why pay top prices for hotels when this one was clean modern in a prime spot and cheap. We are going back to the same hotel. Karoke bar at the side of the pool every night its a must. Fantastic holiday, I would definitely go back, the staff where great, they helped to make our holiday, Sunny beach as got everything, a beautiful beach,lot's to do, I couldn't praise the place highly enough.Thank you all at Palace Hotel for a lovely holiday.

Great location with fantastic views across the resort, power shower could take your skin off, also useful for getting the toilet bowl clean,(should have told the cleaner)! didnt hear a vacuum cleaner all fortnight! towels changed twice only! Restaurant was heavily into re-cycling tho, if something didnt get eaten on Monday, it was served again on Tuesday! then Wednesday and so on!!! Just come back from 11 nights in Sunny Beach Bulgaria staying at the Palace Hotel.. went with friend and had a fab time there.... Hotel was clean, staff were friendly tho a little difficult to speak to but only due to language barrier, whatever room they allocate to you, you always get a lovely view, Breakfast was a little limited and it did get a bit boring having the same every morning but on the whole the food was good and always fresh, would definately go back and stay at the same hotel... We stayed here in June 2008, and to be fair, we couldn't actually fault the hotels cleanliness and facilities. The staff are a bit grumpy, but there, you can't have everything, but the cleaning ladies who did our room everyday were lovely and seemed to work tirelessly every hour of the day Personally, did not like Sunny Beach and found it incredibly seedy and unfriendly. I think we must have stayed at a totally different place to some of the other reviewers? We stayed at the Palace between Aug 17th to 31st this year (2008) and were SO pleasantly surprised. i am just back from a week at the palace hotel. all previous reports are true...YOU DO NOT GET ANY SLEEP....i did not get one night of uninterrupted sleep due to other holiday makers. there was a group of i think norweigan teenagers who thought it was normal to play basketball on the corridor and use the lift as a net at 5 in the morning. also one [--] in this party seemed to go home early every night and as the others returned the had to bang on the door with both fists as they were locked out. also it was such a pity a scottish man... more
