hotel room very clean and very nice , hotel staff were brilliant they gave 110% 24 hours i went with my parents and my 6 yr old son it was his birthday while we were there and the hotel staff put flowers and arrangd his teddys and cards on the bed made a special table at dinner and supplied a huge really nice cake for english money about 15 pound nothing for the size of the cake all the entertainment staff sang happy birthday to him was a brillian day , there are shows everynight and entertainment games and sports though the day the first... more

from the bell boy to the barmen , if you not from france or germany they didnt want to know the english, fight for sun beds every day, food basic and cold , no kids food , queue for drinks constance, i would only recommend this hotel and this country to my inlaws. i have stayed all around the world and this is one place i would not go back to. sorry to say put tunisia is one big s--t hole. do not go there you have been told.

It's probably easier to start at the beginning... hopefully not missing anything! My fiancee and I wanted a last minute all inclusive holiday to somewhere guarenteed hot weather but affordable. The Thomson reps found me this hotel, advising it was going to have a high volume of children - accepting this we knew what to expect. 1st warning - Thomson will not allow bags over 25kg...if like us you go for convinience of only taking 1 bag make sure it isn't over 25kg (even though allowance is 20kg per person). Hi just come back from caribbean world,please watch out for the idiots in the white linen blend suits with the flip flops a size to small for them,they sell dreaded trips and go by the name ali barbaba...it is a camel excursion(i wouldnt of called it that more like animal cruelity) but anyway they con you,they first reconise your origin and promise you a fab day out with the same kind of peeps,so we was english they promised it would be a english trip......it wasnt they were 2 other english girls and the rest around 100 of them french/german... more

Our second time in Tunisia all inclusive, and it just gets better and better. Picked a great hotel 10 mins from the airport and met some new friends. Our choice of hotel was based on budget and I was very impressed with what we got for our money. A clean, tidy, well run hotel with everything a small family needs. New this year to the english so still a bit of a language barrier for them & us Very good for the money , the hotel very clean 24/7 ,a lot of improvments going on during our 2 weeks. Staff were friendly & hard working especially the ANIMATION TEAM. They seem to be working all day & night. Our 3rd year to Skanes Tunisia & we luv it but this would come as our last choice. But value for money is exellent we had 2 weeks for the same price as our previous trips for 1 week so you get for what you pay! Couldn't grumble... more

We were at Caribbean World Monastir hotel from september 3 to september 17. It was wonderfyl holidays. Annimation: Dido, Toni, Max, Nino, Lina - these men were the best of the best. I liked it very much. Also room cleaner Madam Zina was great, she was very accurate, very clean and hardworking person. We will be back to this hotel next year. Last summer we went to Tunesia for the 3rd time. We chose Hotel Caribbean World. When we arrived, we checked in very quickly, while we were drinking our welcome coctails. The rooms were good, of course not luxorious but as a 4star hotel looks like in the African countries. In the restaurant there was great variety of food, and you can eat snack at night. The animation team was really good, and friendly;) And the aqua park part of rthe hotel was great as I saw my younger sisters and brother running back to the slides to go down on them... more

It was the second time that we spent our holidays in Tunisia and because of the fact that we have enjoyed our first holidays in this country we thought it was a good idea to return... Unfortunately we did not choose the same hotel, which was Iberostar Phenicia and we thought that Caribbean was a good option. When we arrived (we were about 30 people...), it was told that the hotel was overbooking and that we had to stay the first night in a room that was not exactly what we had seen in the internet.... you can not imagine how bad these rooms... more

I have just returned from one week on Monastir. It was probably a group of 90 tourists in that flight with the destination in Caribbean World. The night we enter the Hotel is to forget. They offer us a quickly meal and than the perfect confusing at the recepcion. They ask us to fill some papers with our personal identification and wait for the distribution of the rooms.
