Caribbean World Hammamet

The hotel was brilliant. Facilities for the kids were very good and the staff were excellent. Whilst there was plenty of fresh food cooked in front of you, we did struggle with the choice of food. The all inclusive drinks were quite poor, including the soft drinks. The hotel had a perfect location and teh beach was beautiful.

Just returned from a week at caribbean world, I was quite sceptical about travelling to tunisia but this hotel proved me wrong. There is a couple of down sides to the hotel ie:watered down flat beer and not many english guests. However on the plus side we found the food standard and choice to be very good, loads of dishes to choose from and a good selection of sweets. We arrived at the Caribbean World at around 9pm, after a 1h30 min coach ride from Tunis airport we feared we would not be having tea that night. We were greeted by a gentleman at the small but grand reception who advised us to go and get tea and he will book us in after. Myself, my Fiancé and 8yr daughter have just returned from a two week stay. I read all the reviews prior to booking and they seemed very mixed. The holiday was such a good deal we decided to book anyway and hope for the best (assuming that people where just being over fussy in their reviews!). I would consider myself and family to be easy to please and well travelled both in budget and posh holidays! This hotel has some good but mainly bad points. The good being the pools. we had a good time kids doing things all day,staff wonderfull, the inside pool a bit small but ok ,outside pool fab but wether a bit cold in april for swimming kids loved the slides,had 2 girls age 15and a 9yr old no problems,thay all want to go back to this hotel ,i got time to myself as the staff took them off my hands all day ,food good and all fresh ,loved it this holiday was fab,

We arrived at 11pm on Saturday and were met by friendly staff who had arranged special plates of food and drinks for us. We had a family (quad) room with a double and two singles and our friends a triple room (double and a single). Both were clean and modern looking. We stayed here for 10 nights at the end of October, I stayed with my auntie, uncle and 8 year old cousin. The room we were given when we first arrived was a ''family'' room with no balcony just a small window with shutters, the beds had no sheets on them and it had not been cleaned, we went back to the reception and complained and the told us we could not move untill 10am the next morning. Stayed at this hotel from 9th July to 23rd July on an All Inclusive basis. This hotel is rated 3* plus but is no more than 3*. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the maid on the ground floor (Faser) was lovely. This is an All Inclusive hotel but be warned that the only spirits on the All Inclusive are local and Gin has to be paid for at a cost of around £2.30 with tonic. We'd read some reviews and were pretty nervous before we arrived at our hotel, but we couldn't have been happier with it. We had garden rooms, which there was some confusion over which hotel we were staying in (it has a sister hotel over the road!) but after one night there they moved us over to the beach hotel, which is much nicer the morning after we arrived.
