Radisson Blu Resort & Thalasso Djerba

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. It was marvelous from the late hour we arrived until we checked out. Our room, like everything else, was plush and elegant. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom had a separate shower and tub that made mornings easy. The delicious breakfast buffet had something to please everyone.

We just got back from spending four nights at the Radisson. The hotel's appearance, staff, and amenities are excellent. I was told that the Radisson was one of the best hotels in Djerba, and after having seen some of the other options once we were there, I'm convinced this is probably the case. I have only a few minor criticisms. First, there is really nothing within walking distance of the hotel. If you want to access other restaurants or experience any nightlife (if there is any on Djerba?), then you need to take a taxi.... more

We booked the Radisson for 5 nights of luxury at the end of some independent travel from Tunis. We travelled to the island by train from Sousse to Gabes and then a louage to the hotel and arrived, rucksacks on our backs and ever so slightly crumpled. Reception staff were a bit off hand and watch out for the thin walls between rooms otherwise this hotel is very difficult to fault. We stayed in three rooms as a family of six, the staff were mostly delightful, the food was good and the rooms big and clean. Tennis courts (clay) were excellent, Club Mistral windsurfing is right on the beach just to the side of the complex- also very good, (except their agent in Germany who was a bit vague). There is not much to add to the positive aspects of the previous reviews …. the hotel is a real beauty. Some additional pros could be pointed out. There are 160 sun beds on the beach and an equal amount aligning the pool. In case of a shortage (almost never happened when we were there) spare sun beds are collected and installed on the grass alongside the pool. The servants are very quick and helpful to put a thick mattress on the sun bed for you and to cover it with one or more large, soft towels. There are no restrictions on how many... more

Second stay this year and we absolutely loved it. Can't agree with the previous poster: we never had any tummy problems. The food was delicious, with lots of choice. Rooms are large, well appointed and spotless. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing, up market holiday with great value for money.

During our stay several people were complaining about diarrhoea. We need to shorten our 14 days stay because my baby girl (2 years old) got nasty diarrhoea that last several days. I escaped with only "daily" diarrhoea. hotel doctor prescribed antibiotics (we were not that crasy to give them to the baby without appropriate analisys). The Hotel is really nice. It has great architecgture, although not all features are used (probably would cost much more...), but it doesn't matter as it is nothing vital. the pictures on thir site are close to reality so that is a very plesant refreshment. The rooms are spacoeus and clean. The staff is mostly friendly, I would like to point out Rachid from the MOKKA bar as he was extremly plesant to have around and was also willing to give information about the nearby town. Fantastic hotel with certain flaws My wife and I have just returned from a 7 days stay at Radisson SAS in Djerba. The hotel is in many ways fantastic. The architecture is astonishing, with truly excellent attention to detail. The rooms are modern, big, always kept clean and with very comfortable beds. Is a really nice hotel, if is possible ask the room on the west wing …. Because the east face another hotel …, the buffet restaurant (mosaique) is much better than the others, don’t waste your money in the others you will find exactly the same food but served on the table. The staff is friendly and professional. The spa in completely new.
