Outstanding Customer Service
from pmcnea
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Jasmine for 3 nights in April/May 2007. Before we arrived, niether of us were quite sure what to expect both from the city or Riad Yasmine (my girlfriend wanted a hotel from Mr & Mrs Smith but they were no available rooms!!!!) but the early signs were good with the hotel arranging for a taxi to pick us up at the airport. When we arrived we were greeted with mint tea and cakes by the small pool (not sure if it was a pool or a pond) and quickly shown to our room, the Yasmin Suite, which overlooked the...

Michel's Perfect Paradise! by Judi (Madrid) and Sue (UK)
from JudiMadrid
Having spent ages on the internet searching for somewhere to stay in Marrakech, I found Riad Yasmine on Trip Advisor, read the excellent comments and booked it up. I've just come back home after a weekend there and felt I had to add a comment. It really is the most PERFECT place to stay. I'd give it a 10/10. We followed the advice another traveller gave and pre-booked a taxi via the riad to pick us up from the airport. It might be a little more expensive than any other taxi but it was worth every penny having the peace of mind that the...

We had a GREAT stay at this Riad Yasmine
from Sofiag
This is a lovely place to stay. Beautifully appointed rooms, lovely accessories, lovely food in an area of Marrakesh that is far enough away from the tourists and yet close enough to still be a part of the action. Highly recommended. We stayed in3 night in April 2007.
One of the best
from GLT14
The Yasmine is one of the loveliest places we've ever stayed. It is not a grand hotel with lots of facilities, but if you want a comfortable place to stay in Marrakesh, it's perfect. It has only 6 or 8 rooms, on two floors set round a beautifully decorated courtyard with a small pool. It is a haven of tranquillity amid the hassle of Marrakesh. The staff were very friendly and have high standards of service. The owner comes in most evenings and is keen to chat to each guest and ensure that everything is going well. He will advise...

Great place to return to
from SurreyPeripatetic
We stayed at the Riad Yasmine for 5 nights in late March 2007. It is a very comfortable and well run small boutique hotel. The owner, Michel, and his wife made us very welcome. They briefed us on Marrakech and organised taxis and trips out (try Essouira). We ate in the Riad on two nights and took breakfast every day. The food was very good. Our suite was excellent and the heating useful as it turned quite cold while we were there. The Riad is within easy walking of the Souks and the main square. It is a haven of tranquility to...

Very nice stay
from brightonalex
We had an excellent stay here. Its a small, tranquil place and a nice escape from the madness of the souk. The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. We arrived late but the kitchen still provided us with chicken sandwiches, which were a taste sensation. If you are miserly like me, don't bother taking a taxi from the airport, its a lot cheaper to get the bus (you'll see it parked near the taxis) into town and then get a taxi from there. You need to tell the taxi driver to go to Bab Taghzout, or he won't know...

The Perfect Place
from AP-WA
I would HIGHLY recommend this Riad. I stayed there from March 25, 2007 to March 30, 2007 with my wife, father, and a friend. I have nothing but great things to say about the Riad Yasmine. We had dinner three times at the hotel and the food was excellent. The staff was helpful and courteous. When we asked about the best way to arrange a day trip to the Atlas Mountains the staff graciously arranged the whole thing. The Riad Yasmine is a short walk from the Souks and a moderate walk from the Jamaa El Fna square. The Riad Yasmine (and especially...

Riad Yasmine is serene and comfortable
from Rockclouds
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days at Riad Yasmine. It is on the North side of the city, 15 minutes taxi ride from the airport and in walking distance of all the Medina attractions. The taxi ride from the airport costs 150 dh. Our taxi could not find the Riad. We learnt that if you say Riad Yasmine, Bab Taghzout. - everyone knows where it is. There is a taxi rank near the Riad. The taxis are inexpensive and we used them to get us around at night, as it can be easy to get lost and some paths through the souks close at night and the...

Yasmine, a perfect oasis
from Kirsty33
A group of 18 of us booked out the Riad Yasmine and spent 3 nights there on 1st March. It is a beautiful place, all the rooms overlook the courtyard which has a small pool, the roof terrace is large with lots of different seating areas, we had breakfast up there every morning. We ate there on 2 nights and the food was tasty, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only drawback we had was we had taken our own wine (as I have in other Riads) but they were keen we bought their wine but we manged to work that out doing a bit of both....

Lovely Riad
from Bloke
Stayed at Riad Yasmine at last minute after issues with Riad Dar Laaziza. Riad Yasmine was a welcome relief. Well appointed inside - we stayed in a suite. Breakfast was excellent - cereal and pastries as well as Moroccan favourite breakfast pancakes and omelletes cooked on request. Room - King Size bed Aircon Heater Big bath - easily room for 2 Tv - with bad reception and no english channels - but you dont come here for the tv. Location - close to Taxi rank 20 min walk to main...
