Hotel Kasbah Dar Ilham

We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing four day stay at this beautiful riad. We started our week's holiday with four days to relax and unwind at Riad Dar Ilham, and then spent the next three days in a riad in the middle of the medina. It was a perfect conbination and I would highly recommend it. The medina is fascinating and not to be missed, but I think three days of a week's stay is about right. Stay at Riad Dar Ilham for the first few days of your holiday, and you're sure to arrive in the medina in a relaxed frame of mind. Paul & Sarah

Celebrated the new year in Marrakech at the Riad Dar Ilham - and what a stay! Fantastic charming place, wonderful stylish rooms and wonderful heated pool - so nice to be swimming outside i December. Alain and his wonderful, friendly and helpful staff made us feel really comfortable - nothing close to what we had expected. Hope to go back there sometime - and that the same staff and Alain will still be there :)

We went to Riad Dar Ilham just last week and loved the place. Total peace and tranquility outside the hussle and bussle of Marrakech. A wondeful swimmingpool and beautiful gardens. The Staff were the most friendly hosts we have ever met while being on our Travels and we have travelled alot. We loved it so much we are already booking our flights to return in the summer months. I organised a long weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday with 20 people at the Riad Dar Ilham and it was absolutely magnificent. Alain, his wife and their staff were fantastic and made our stay extremely memorable. It was definitely my best birthday ever. I am going back to Dar Ilham for sure. After the awful british summer we were glad to get away to Morroco, but even more so to this little gem of a place. We were reluctant to share how good this oasis was in an attempt to keep it our little secret, but it would be a shame not to tell the world how good Kasbah Dar llham really is. Our first trip to Morocco, with three children 3, 7 & 10. Arrived tired and hot to this dream Riad, for a 3 night stay. The staff are charming and attentive and the rooms were lovely (air-con). The food was delicious and overwhelming in quantity! We stayed in the Kasbah dar Ilham which has 7 suites & a room, where we had a suite and room next to each other, and there is the Riad dar Ilham next door with 4 rooms/suites. We stayed as a family for five nights in three of the four rooms in the main riad. Alain is the owner, a Frenchman who knows how to run a good establishment in the more "relaxed" ways of Morooco! The staff were so helpful and the building and garden were very beautiful. Book direct and save some money!

The place is amazing. the owner (Alain) is very friendly. the swimming pool is great . the staff warm and welcoming. if you are looking for nice place and want to spend a good time go to Dar Ilham.

The Riad is great, we did not stay at the riad but at the building next door. The Riad is more beautiful but that was booked. The food was great, the best we had in a long time. The rooms where very good, and the pool was nice as well. The staff was very very helpfull. A very good place to stay. I had a massage eveyday and that was very relaxing.
