Lonno Lodge

We wanted to make the most out of the second half of our Kenya vacation. The first week only traveling and game watching, the other half only relaxing. We chose Lonno Lodge for the relaxing-part, and didn't regret a second! The hotel is elegant, the rooms big - almost like apartments, and the salt water pool is great. What can I say about Lonno Lodge that hasn't been said by other reviews ? Just imagine a piece of paradise, some wonderful rooms designed by the inspiration of its own owner and architect Aldo, a large swimming pool with a breathless view over the ocean, a completly secluded and private strip of beach, a remarkable and personalized service, offered by smiling kenyan and masai people and with care and attention by Aldo and Silvia. This is THE place to choose for You who is looking for an extraordinary hotel experience. The hotel is absolutely lovely situated above the sea, with wonderful scenery wievs from the rooms, not to mention enjoying the wonderful pool overlooking the sea. From the moment we arrived at the Malindi airport we were treated to the wonderful hospitality of Aldo and Silvia. We were escorted to Lonno Lodge where we were introduced to Silvia the host and saw in the background the swimming pool set amongst a sky of stars. Our family with 2 children were welcomed by the staff and treated to first class luxury. The lodge was unique with intricately carved doors and shutters.
