Daniela Village Dahab

We were looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday and in Daniella village we found much more than that. The service of the hotel is fantastic; the food was very good and the diving was the most fantastic part of the trip. It felt home to receive a warm smile from everybody every time. Egyptian people are very gentle and curious about people, don't skip having a nice conversation with them. We recommend this place for a welcome holiday, with a fantastic diving and snorkeling. If you’re looking for a really relaxed holiday where you can totally chill and reload your batteries, Daniela Village is the place to be. It is so quiet, I sometimes thought my ears were blocked. This is a magnificant cosy resort. The staff are extremely friendly. It is like having your own private villa. Not disturbed by the mass tourists. A Hotel where you can have everything and at the same time relax like you've never relaxed before. The hotel has it's own private beach and reef and a professional diving centre. It's all so beautiful there. It's a family run hotel and they treat you not just like any tourist, but part of their family.

I stayed for 2 weeks in total, 1 week of diving the local sites with Daniella Diving Team and a second week when my girlfriend joined me for out site-seeing tours arranged by the Daniella hotel (we went for an overnight trip to Petra/Dead Sea). The diving organisation and quality was nothing short of exemplary; with a house reef with all day snorkelling to die for and a lovely cool off pool for those apres-dive afternoon!!! Lovely hotel, warm personal welcome and great location - near enough to Dahab on the shuttle bus (or if going in the winter, hotel will arrange cheap minibus during the day). Any hotels right in Dahab tend to be for divers/backpackers and there is no proper beach there. Daniela is spacious and totally for you if you want to dive, snorkel or just laze by the pool and beach. This place made our holiday. A breath of fresh air from the nightmare of Naama Bay. Diving centre had a top class tutor - Jessica - who took us straight in the sea; no pool sessions. The hotel is a stones throw from the Blue Hole, one of the best dive sites in the world. The management of the hotel were extremely flexible, gracious and polite who never pressurised us over anything. The food was a real highlight also, buffet style with genuine local dishes. 6 of us stayed at the Daniela for a few nights in April, a very relaxing place. We loved it, a small pool, nice beach, great snorkeling right from the beach. If you're looking for a party spot, stay in town but if you want to relax this is the perfect spot very isolated from other hotels. Short and cheap shuttle ride into Dahab whenever you want it. Food was excellent, staff was very friendly! Loved the surroundings.

This is a very nice hotel - just outside Dahab. We had our own transport so perhaps that made life easier for trips into town, without relying on the Shuttle Bus. We spent a week there, snorkeling, diving and chasing crabs with our two small children. There is no sandy beach at all, which is a bit hard for little kids, so bring shoes that can go in the water. There is a playground, and the manager found some pedal cars and bikes for our kids to play on. The food was lovely, the staff very friendly. We had no complaints at all.

We booked with Daniella Village after speaking to their customer services via email. They were very helpful and offered us an off peak discount. It was still cheaper to buy a package deal with Olympic Holidays and pay for the diving seperately when we arrived. The transfer from Sharm el Sheihk airport to Dahab was very good and the Olympic reps were friendly and helpful. The Daniella Village is 3km outside the Bedouin town of Dahab and is very picturesque. We used this hotel only because of its location near some of the most beautiful diving sites of the Red Sea. This is a very basic hotel regarding amenities, no luxury at all. The rooms are ok, no TV, the bathroom had some leaking problems, there is only shower no bathtub. There is a bar by the reception where you can watch TV and outside there is a pool that we didn't use because we were diving all day. So I would recommend this hotel only because of its location by the diving sites and it's cheap.
