Nice apartments, basic
from TimeforaholidayTipp
My boyfriend and I stayed here in Janurary for a week. The place itself is grand, its clean and the staff were very nice especially Phil in the pool bar. The apartments itself has everything you need, bedrooms were quite dark its not luxury but its fine, it has a nice balcony and we were over looking the pool. It was a quite place we had no noise from road traffic. The spa is nice but its very small (wouldnt really call it a spa!) Location is good enough and taxis are very cheap. Loads of nice places to eat, good holiday
great location! wud go back

really enjoyed this place. firstly, the apartments. only downfalls were the beds (quite hard) and the bedrooms were quite dark. always needed the lights on. but in all fairness, while on a girlie holiday (leaving a boyfriend at home) i wasnt planning on spending much time in there. the bathrooms were grand, always hot water. towels changed everyday (4 towels each day) and bedsheets i think every second (or third) day. cleaners came around 11, bit annoyn when hungover. the living area was perfect. never used the cooking facilities...

Good location, but the noise...
from TheBC
Booked our holiday through travel agent on the web, it was their choice of apartments. Pleasantly surprised when we pulled up outside the apartments as they are very nice from the outside. Rooms are clean, and general living space is generous, looking down on the pool with a good balcony area. Spa is good for the ladies, prices reasonable. Problems encountered with this place hough were the amount of ants, particularly in the kitchen, but more so...THE NOISE FACTOR!!... Whoever built these must have used a pce of plywood between...

On The Border
from heatmiserDublin
My Wife and I stayed in the Costa Volcan apartments in August 2007. On the plus side, it is located on the border of the 'Old Town and the 'New Town'. It is fairly well equipped with a Spa Centre, Pool Bar and Internet access( two computers in the lobby ). There is a flight of steps (fairly steep) right outside the door of the reception which leads up to the 'Old Town' where there are several Irish Bars close together. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. You can walk into the 'New Town' in...

Decent accomadation
from cudman
The rooms were basic but clean. Towles and sheets changed quite frequently. The walls were quite thin, so depending on who you have next door it may be a problem. Luckilly we had a nice norwegian couple on one side of us and the noisy people the other side left two days after we arrived. Brendan Behans bar is straight across the road and is very reasonably priced and they are very generous with the spirits! The old town is probably the nicer part of puerto del carmen if you are after a relaxing holiday.
Awful Place Stay Away!!!
from Lubin68
I booked this holiday for Christmas 2007 in July 2007and this accommodation was all that was available for the dates we wanted to travel. I checked the reviews on this site and found them all to be good so we booked it thinking it would be as good as others had found it....but it wasn't at all. Our room was 512 which was located at the back of the hotel facing a busy road which made it very noisy with traffic and drunken holiday makers singing and fighting at all hours of the night, every night! I bought earplugs after the first night...

First Time Holiday to Lanzarote
from macLouth
Stayed at the Costa Volcan Apartments & SPA for one week. The apartment was spacious and clean. Towel change three times a week and cleaning twice a week. The balcony overlooked the pool. The beds were not great, but as the week went on you'd get use to them, but I wouldn't let that put you off. A trip to the SPA is recommended and very reasonable with a massage costing from 20 euros, pedicures & manicures are very cheap. The apartments are ideally located between the old town and the new town. Would recommend the old town for...

loved it
from ReadMyReview
Stayed at this hotel in july for a week with my boyfriend.. we loved the hotel, the location is good as it is between the old town and new town! the apartments are lovely, are kept really clean by the cleaners every day, and you get a change of towels and sheets everyday. The cleaners are nice and you can trust them. unfortuntely the pool was not the same, it was cleaned once towards the end of our week there at the start of the week there was lots of dirt in it as the breeze blows it into the pool. the food in the hotel is...

booked last minute holiday and these were reduced to half price. upon arrival we were checked in straight away and given a nice welcome. room was on third floor and we had a pool and sea view. all the bedrooms look on to a courtyard and have shutters on the windows which can be opened or closed. this made the room very cool and the sun did not shine in. even had to put extra blankets on the beds! the pool water is freezing but as its so hot its refreshing. a little cafe by the pool which serves gorgeous full breakfast for about €3....

Excellent location
from AuroraNorway
This was my third visit to Lanzarote and my first stay at Apt. Costa Volcan. Friends recommend this place and we got happily surprised. Great location to bars & restaurants, shoppingcenter across the street and the playa nearby. Lovely spacious apartments, hugs balcony and from our apartment in top floor we had a beautiful seaview. Ask for top floor in the first building! Sorry to say that the poolbar was terrible, doesn't matter at all with plenty of bars around the corner. I will recommend this place to anyone.

We had booked to stay in the Panorama Apartments and our first impression when we arrived was, "What have we done!" The Panorama was at the top of a steep hill, was pretty much in darkness and seemed to be miles away from any night life. Luckily when we went to check-in we... more
